Some players really like to spam their voice lines over and over and it can make it hard to hear other actually important call outs and sound cues. Currently the only way to mute that person voice lines is by turning voice lines off completely which is a major hindrance as you can’t hear other players call outs as well as enemy ultimate voice lines. Could you please include muting a player to also mute their characters voice lines or perhaps add a separate option to mute their character but not the player themselves?

'Tho report is a good tool, it isn’t enough in this case (and many others). We need a fast and certain solution like a simple mute voice lines button as the post says. We can’t afford to wait for dozens of reports about one player to trigger a Blizzard punishment that not includes mute voice lines, because it doesn’t exist yet. The player would be muted in voice or chat and could keep spamming those lines anyway or be kicked out of current season, wich is most unlikely or even unfair for this issue isn’t so grave to do so.
I believe it is an easy feature that could be made fast and help a lot of players AND decrease the number of useless reports.
May Blizz consider there are other pressing matters to attend to in the game, but this could do a lot with very little.
As a support main I wish I could mute voice lines. Yes we get it the need healing memes are funny. (They aren’t) but when you are at full at hp and spamming need healing when you don’t it pulls my attention away and makes me want to ignore said player.

It seems Blizzard abandoned the game for trolls. I came from a match just now where I was a solo heal and a solo player with a 5-stack group spamming “I need healing”. Man, this game could cause serious damage to someone mood. I had to abandon the match to fill 5 reports and even now I’m sad and angry because, until today, there’s no other way to solve this in game and I’m sure nothing will happen with them. They even abused the report system using it against me (even I healing them and being really kind to those trolls in the chat)!
I don’t know what else I can do… I’m at a loss with this game.
