I know. People have been asking for him for some time now and I hope someone on the overwatch team sees this and starts working on him for the game, and he would be another omnic AND he would be the 6Th Talon hero added to the game
This is what I think- I would have him be like a defense hero tbh, have him throw cards as his primary, and have him roll dice for sheilds or a buff few seconds (random choice), and his ult can be called like “jackpot” and he could make teammates around him get buffed and have sheilds for a limited time, perfect for pushing.
sorry for not putting in my ideas on abilities yet.

What role would he be?
Some kind of DPS? A tank? maybe defense?
When I look at this character, I can’t tell what role he would be put in.
What kind of abilities would he have that would set him apart from the others? I have seen people say he could summon minions but that would be kind of dumb in my opinion so I’m just curious what other skills he might have if he was made into a hero.
perhaps a defense tank hybrid? a defense hero with multiple abilities that protect the team but doesn’t have many offensive options
50 hp, 250 shields, and multiple defensive abilities
He seems like a support if you ask me ,I just can’t imagine him being directly in the middle of the fight and killing ,or being in the fight and tanking ,he’d be a utility heavy support ,or maybe a utility defense hero ,like sym ,the current and upcoming version, he’d probably be ranged too

I updated the topic, I put it up too early by mistake.
Interesting ideas but the RNG for abilities would kind of suck and you would never hear the end of people complaining about it no matter how it’s setup.
Eh, doesn’t matter what people will always be like that tbh.

Watch Maximilian be added into the game the same way Efi was. I mean she has fluff and a player icon…
but efi is a child and maximilian is not. 
And? So just because a child is the exception doesn’t mean there can be no other exceptions other than children? Guess hero 28 is Pachimari. Why does everyone want Maximilian to be a Hero? Or Emily? Or Alejandra? Or pretty much anyone that shows up and has two arms?

I think you misunderstood something here, Efi is a child and people are pretty against child voilence or death, so it’s unlikely of her being a playable hero.
The thing about adding him as a playable character is that, from even a visual standpoint, all the other heroes thematically fit into their assigned roles.
For example, Junkrat carries his tire at all times on his back, Roadhog is always seen with his hook, etc.
I know it’s not a rule, so each character can look however Blizzard wants and that’s the end of it.
However, from all we’ve seen of Maximilian, he wears a suit, looks ominous in certain shots, and loses big bets at the casino. His character isn’t fleshed out, really.
Cause he’s an omnic, he has no flesh.

I’m maining him actually, not that bad 
Honestly I don’t really see what they can do with him other than a zenyatta skin.
