Can I report someone for repeatedly going for Reddit Lucio attempts?

Legit question because I am seriously getting so fed up and pissed off whenever a Lucio who knows they keep failing at getting flanking picks by doing this dumb Reddit playstyle but they keep trying to go for it anyways.

by…ignoring them, eventually they will have to accept fact and change their playstyle

They’re not technically purposely throwing by being genuinely bad.

So sadly, no.

They have to learn the ways of “git gud”, and reporting them does nothing.

You can report anyone for anything. What actually matters is if enough people report the person to trigger an automated suspension. Blizzard won’t even look at the suspensions to overturn them unless you’re a popular streamer (I believe the email you get says something along the lines of, unless you can prove your account was hacked we will not overturn this suspension).

Well if they are trying for flanks every single time and never with their team then they just dont know wtf they are doing. But sometimes going straight trhough the fight with your team and then to the flank to interrupt or kill a widow or ana is optimal

Sure, report system is automated. Go right ahead.

With the way this game’s report system works, you can report anyone for anything. The reason doesn’t matter. And if enough other people report them, their account will be actioned, because it’s an automated system.

So someone who keeps feeding by pulling off Reddit Lucio tactics even though they blatantly know it is not working, that isn’t throwing?

They think it’ll work.

They’re trying to make it work.

It’s not like the game was going sour so they swapped and started running face first into the enemy team.

Plus, we don’t know the whole story, just your accounts of what apparently happened.

And it constantly doesn’t in 90% of the cases that happen and despite our team asking them to stop feeding them ult charge, they do it anyways and keep feeding.

That sounds reportable.

If there is no teamwork, then it can be considered team sabotage.

But you giving us very little info to go off of aside from “reddit lucio” doesnt give us much

I’ll give you a more detailed scenario that is pretty common then.

We play KotH. We get the point once the round starts. Lucio then decides to speed boost to the enemy spawn before we even cap the point, abandon his team who don’t have the speed to catch up to him, and then he dies.

How many flashy Lucios do you run into?? Only time I see showoff Lucios is occasionally on Illios, Rialto, and Nepal and usually I just go Orisa or Ashe to steal their thunder. :smirk:

No, same as you cant report battle mercy given that the devs acknowledged it was a valid playstyle in her rework video giving Valkyrie infinite ammo. If you do your best using any part of a heros kit even exclusively, it is not reportable. Throwing is reportable and while the line is thin for battle mercy, if they want to play that way they can, just like Lucio can choose to only use speedboost.

In my eyes that could be considered trolling and sabotage

And if done constantly I don’t see why it wouldn’t be reportable

Thats not true, I got banned because people kept reporting me for playing battle Mercy and I got my suspension overturned. It isnt logical to expect blizzard to read every single report. If more than say 10 people report you in a small time period, you should get auto banned since ur obviously doing something wrong.

It is your responsibility to get your suspension overturned if you believe it is false. There is no need to read reports if you have a large quantity of them since its likely u do indeed did something worth being reported for.

Being bad at the game isn’t reportable.

Avoid them and move on.

So feeding the enemy team constantly when you aren’t getting value out of this method even when you tell them to stop via text and/or voice isn’t reportable? Okay.

nope, they are still trying to win.

Avoid and move on.

Being bad at the game isn’t reportable. Otherwise I would get to report everyone for every mistake they made.
