You’re bringing down the teams chances of winning and making them struggle harder if you choose to not play one of the 7 meta heroes. So that’s a reportable offense right?

No, you cannot report someone for playing outside of the meta.

If this is for real, then you can’t report for someone’s hero pick. EVER

If they’re doing something that drastically hinders the team, a cliff teleporter, feeding on purpose, walling off your team on purpose, etc. then you can report them for gameplay sabotage. BUT YOU CAN’T REPORT SOMEONE FOR THEIR HERO PICK

What is meta ? Some kind of “I win!” button ? You are right, meta is a thing… but it works only for skilled premades.

Okay, so it is not a reportable offense and technically that is false reporting; HOWEVER, at the same time, it is a bannable offense and there does not seem to be any overt consequence for false reporting. So, Blizzard would tell you no (and I agree with them). But, what would hypothetically happen would be your desired outcome nevertheless. So do what you will.

Sounds like you’re the one being toxic if you’re tilting over someone’s hero pick. If no one picked “off meta,” we’d still have the meta from season 2. No one would change their hero to discover if someone is stronger or weaker, simply because they aren’t meta.

They should be reported, because blizzard made several heroes viable competitively and a lot of them not intentionally.

Just like you can’t report for one tricking, you can’t report for hero picks outside the meta

No you can’t. Everyone has the free will to play who they want. If someone believes they are better at a hero then a ‘meta’ hero, then so be it.
