Can i get banned for cheating in the training camp?

Hi

I’m a small programmer, and I’m trying to improve day by day, and I wanted to program an aimbot, personal and only in the training camp only for the purpose of improving my programming skill.

That’s why I need to know if I can get banned to use it only in the shooting range.

Thank you

The anti-cheat would be running the entire time the game would be active I’d imagine, so yeah I’d say there is a fair chance on getting banned

Maybe i need to ask to the blizzard email contact, but thank you!

If they detect you using macros or 3rd party software of any kind I’d expect a ban. Doesn’t matter where.

If you want to make an aimbot for practice, do it in the workshop using the in game tools. That is completely fine. But actually making hacks for the game is not going to be allowed.

That not a programming language xD ^^’

I suggest you just pick an offline game for this.
Borderlands maybe?

I know better overwatch

It actually uses programming language basics…

Admittedly, I don’t know too much about that. I just know it allowed for players to make their own code-y bits and know aimbots in workshop exist. >.<

While it itself isn’t a programming language it follows many of the same rules and syntax correct?

Psuedocode isn’t a programming language, but it still has uses right?

It’s been awhile since I took CS, so maybe this isn’t the case.

well, if you want to program an aimbot you dont have thing like “.FaceTo()”, you need to do all by yourself ^^

Are you talking about making functions? I guess that could be pretty difficult.

I’m punching above my weight here with CS knowledge though. I only got to CS2 in college! xD

What about that aimtrainer game? Or osu? Single player games might be a better target.

Yes.
That is how it works.

I’d say that you’d still get banned. Even if you didn’t use it in a game, they have no way of knowing whether you sold it off to someone else to use. And they would have just let you set it up and test it out for free…

yes

emailing blizzard will warrant the same response, whether its true or not.

Anti cheat runs all the time but anti cheat is super bad so you probably won’t get banned

Buy yourself a throwaway account and just try it out. :sunglasses: But yeah, I imagine it’s very likely this’ll result in a ban.

And most of the time you’ll get banned for reports, not the anti cheat
