I feel like the only chance there was for a Talon tank was Doomfist. All of the figures of Talon we’ve seen in comics/etc. are way too small/slender in build and height to be a tank, Doomfist was the only exception.
Unless they introduce some super giant guy/girl/omnic who has been hiding in the shadows this whole time out of nowhere, I don’t see it happening.

I’m thinking hero 31 is the DoOmnic. As far as I’m aware, he’s the only teased character that hasn’t been confirmed to not be 31.
But, they could just Baptiste us again.

Sanjay could be the Talon tank if given hard light armor. But he could also be the hard light support that Symmetra failed to be. (plus Talon needs a 2nd healer) He’s still currently one of my top picks for confirmed existing people in the lore to be added since the juicy position he is in with a chunk of the cast. He’d literally boost Lucio and Symmetra both to being more relevant to the story.
Otherwise, there’s the random Omnic guy dropped at the end of the new Archives event. As well as the often overlooked beefy mohawk guy at the council meeting in the Masquerade comic. The fact that they threw a hairdo on the guy that made him stand out makes me wonder.
I think it would be really cool if that mysterious omnic we see at the end of storm rising was a talon tank.

Ew, no, gross, please stop. He’s the least interesting character I’ve ever seen in my life, literally just a less interesting version of Sym (we also have no idea if he can even use Hard light, considering in the comics he’s just a higher up who is hiring Sym to do the work for him).
Or just let Echo be that support since she’s an actually interesting and unique hero and not just a bland, male Symmetra.

And Echo is just sexualized Zenyatta? DMON is just DVA #2. Junker Queen is literally Barbie of Junkertown. And Brig is just sexualized Rein?
Personally I’d rather see Echo be a tank. She could be the graceful and beautiful tank in stark contrast to the rest of them.
LMAO. Just because a female character has a feminine figure/model doesn’t mean she is sexualized. Doomfist is literally a super buff, ripped, shirtless guy and I never see anyone calling him “Sexualized”. Hanzo has his nipple out in a majority of his skins, Roadhog walks around half naked, many of Mcree’s voicelines and his lifeguard skins could be considered “Risque”. I’m really sick of people claiming that a female character is “over sexualized” any time she’s even remotely attractive or not wearing a turtleneck.

Brigitte is literally dressed in clunky, huge, non-revealing full body armor in every one of her skins. How is a girl in full body armor and a helmet, carrying a giant mace and shield, “sexualized”? You just sound sexist, ignorant, or I don’t even know how to describe what’s coming out of your mouth right now,
You’re really gonna sit here and claim that Echo, a hero who has an interesting and unique design, lore, backstory, and as Jeff said “huge role to play in upcoming story” is worse of a design than Sanjay, who is literally a bland, boring, male version of Sym with less lore, less unique design, and (to our knowledge) no special abilities? He’s the equivalent of a business boss in a real estate company, at least Maximilian is an interesting mafia-looking businessman.

You literally dumbed down Sanjay to “male Symm” so I dumbed down Echo. I like her to be honest, but you know why she is made curvy and with a “human” face. She is the only Omnic designed in that fashion. It looks good and I’m excited for her. But you could dumb her down to (especially if made a support) to being a female Zen.
Junker Queen is one you have no footing on. Look at Junkrat. Skinny, missing limbs, exaggerated face, filthy, and dumb/loud. Look at Roadhog. Obese, gas mask, and grey hair. Now look at Junker Queen. Pretty, sexy, and big boobs. Look at the other characters in the comic? All of them look filthy and somewhat altered by their atmosphere. She looks like a hot topic shopper.
And now you bring up a bunch of stuff that doesn’t exist yet. We don’t know Echo’s lore, back story, or her her “huge role to play in upcoming story.” (afterall it barely moves) If Echo was standing behind a desk as a NPC, she’s fit in right there as well. It’s what they can make of a character that is important. Echo has lots of potential but so does the council member of Talon with hard light technology at his disposal that is directly linked to two heroes who have no connection to the ongoing Overwatch story besides their link to Vishkar’s Sanjay being in Talon.
Don’t be hating and mad just cause I like a character that you don’t.

Because…that’s the only story he has. He is a male in the same organization as Symmetra, who works above her and tells her what to do. He doesn’t get his hands dirty, has displayed no control over hard light, and has the least interest art/design I’ve ever seen in the comics. He looks like an extra in the background, just a slightly tan guy with a turtle-shaped nose nose and a tuft of copper hair.
No, you didn’t just “dumb her down” you completely erased all of the lore surrounding her, the fact that she has a unique design which is different from every other omnic we have in the game/have seen in comics/shorts. Sanjay, without being dumbed down, is a guy who works for Viskhar and bosses Sym around and has no hard light powers. Echo, without being dumbed down, is a super integral Omnic to the lore who has a past with Overwatch and Mcree and was being transported in a military cargo train towards somwhere, most likely Viskhar, probably to be studied or turned into a weapon, not to mention have one of the most unqiue designs of any Omnic in the OW universe thus far. Her character models is one of the sleekest and well designed in the game, the unique shape of the wings and form is much more thought-provoking than Sanjay’s design.
And she also has extreme warpaint, the sides of her head are shaved, and she has a wierd mullet/mohawk hairstyle dyed electric blue. Her face in every poster is covered in dirt, grime, and warpaint, and she has a huge scar running from under her right eye to her jaw, as well as a huge lower lip ring jutting out. Not exactly the most “traditionally pretty and sexy video game girl”. Your only argument right now is “big boobs !!”. Newsflash, females have boobs. It’s apart of their anatomy. Having boobs doesn’t make you sexualized. Also newsflash, people can wear revealing clothes, especially in the middle of the desert-like climate and heat of Australia where she lives. Junkrat and Roadhog both walk around shirtless and live in the same city as her…
And I notice you completely ignored my rebuttal to you calling Brig “Sexualized Reinheart”. So when you’re wrong you just ignore it, hm? Maybe calling a heavily armored chick who looks like she’s wearing bulky lego armor "Sexualized’ wasn’t the smartest argument to bring up.

Oh my, You basically accuse me of erasing Echo’s status in the world while you erase Sanjay’s. He is on the head council of Talon. He isn’t a nobody. He has direct ties to more of the cast than most other known characters and helps link two heroes lacking story to the main story. He is a important character even if he gets reduced to comic/story only. And then you go on talking about theoretical Echo lore once again. Implying someone like Mercy (who was against any sort of violence) is alright in the game while Sanjay (head member of a evil group of super powered freaks) would clearly not have any fire power is laughable. He wouldn’t be added as his base look. Just like Symmetra isn’t in her Vishkar outfit and Brig wasn’t in her regular outfit either.
TLDR- You erase and ignore Sanjay’s spot in the lore while boasting and assuming aspects in favor of Echo’s and against Sanjay’s.
Fashion statement gotten at Hot Topic on Junker Queen v Obese man with gas mask covered face and the torn off limbs of a mad man missing large chunks of his hair madly cackling. Ya. Junker Queen is totally on their level.
Brig is young, pretty, and she shows her face off in her classic skins. Rein is old and is covered 100% in his classic look. There is some difference there. I don’t really consider Brig sexualized. But if I had to pick between their base looks on which one was made to look prettier than the other… it’d be Brig. As again, most female heroes are more in their young prime era than the males.
I don’t want to be to rude, but I look at your play time and it’s mostly all female heroes. It’s alright to prefer one over the other. But I feel that is playing more into your super aggressive and defensive postings here than Sanjay not actually having potential. To remind you, Brig had a even simpler and more background role before she got added than Sanjay does now.
I think something along the lines of the PvE Talon Heavy Assault character could be fun. Probably not a 1:1 copy, but it wouldn’t be that difficult to create a fun character from the concept of “Giant cyborg tank with two giant miniguns”.
? Mercy is literally a child progidy who’s nanobiology invention is the basis for her own, Ana’s, Moira’s, and Baptiste’s healing abilities.
This is what the OW website says about her:

She literally invented a flying suit and the healing technology that almost every support now uses in-game. That’s a lot more interesting than the guy who is Symmetra’s boss.
LMAOOOOOOOOO you are being so sad right now. So now a female character can’t even show off her face without being “Sexualized”?? Are you crazy? She is literally in FULL BODY ARMOR which is huge and bulky and doesn’t show off her feminine shape at ALL. Is she supposed to wear a full face mask, too?

I main main support, all 3 of which are females, and my favorite DPS for a while was Widowmaker. Of course my playtime will be all females. What does that have to do with this conversation AT ALL?
Being the daughter of Torbjorn who became an engineer and squire to Reinheart is not less interesting than the guy who is Sym’s boss and tells her to blow up a building so they can buy the real estate.
I really hope that the talon omnic we saw with doomfist will be their new addition to the squad. And that’s it’s the talon tank.

You are hyper aggressive about me liking a potential hero. Like really. Please just stop and think for a moment. You literally have attacked the character and the poster saying they like a character cause they like someone you don’t. Grow up.
For Mercy. You 100% twisted it around my point to something else. You said Sanjay hasn’t been shown to get his hands dirty. Mercy was the medic and hated violence. But they have her shooting and damage boosting. It works for her, it can work for him.
Again, I played down on your level of dumbing down. Brig could be labeled a mini Rein, except a girl and pretty. That’s your level of thinking on Sanjay.
On playtime it shows your bias for female heroes. I have a more mixed bag play time with McCree as top in Quick and Moira as top in Comp. Ana, Lucio, Mercy, and Orisa are also high up. Baptiste will work his way up as times passes as I enjoy him as well.
Daughter of Torb and followed around Rein is Brig’s original lore. That was it. Sanjay’s is he has a seat on the inner council of Talon after Doomfist’s purging of it while he manipulates the strong trust Symmetra has for him and using Vishkar to build a Utopia.

No, I didn’t. I said he hasn’t been shown to have any control over hard light. As in, he doesn’t have the powers that Sym does. If you wanna talk “Getting hands dirty”, Mercy DOES get dirty, she built a Valkyrie suit to be active and participate in battles/fights and support her team, and she actively goes and PARTICIPATES in OW missions like in the Uprising comic and mission. Sanjay literally hires people to do work for him, probably because he can’t control hard light himself.

You’re right, I shouldn’t even care considering he’s such a bland, boring, and unoriginal character that there’s no chance of him being made into a Hero. Thank god 
We don’t know whether he can or can’t. He also hasn’t been exposed as playing for Talon and hasn’t had to raise his foot to stomp out any opposition yet. You’re making hard assumptions on him.
Another hero who has and had no fight knowledge shown in their lore is Mei. We have plenty of lore on her and none of it shows battle. And if you hate him for this, Lynx 17 and the head of the space program (blanking on her name) that people root for also have 0 fight experience shown but are also promoted by other people to be new heroes.
Please reevaluate discussing future heroes if you’re so aggressive and outright rude to people who like characters you don’t. The amount of aggressive remarks is childish and outright uncalled for.
