Can Group Leader be punished instead?

I had a message saying “Repeatedly Leaving Matches Will Result In A Penalty”

But I only play in a group, and never as leader, I always just pass the role to someone else. Why did I get this and not the Group Leader when they have the choice to yank us all out against our will if the game isnt going according to their wishes?

Seems kinda broken to punish players just following Group Leader when they decide to yank us all from the match.

I prefer to play the match until the very end, I have seen games turn and win at the last hopeless minute.

Just to clarify, this is not Comp. Just QP.

Can anyone tell me why this happened and why Group Leader didnt get punished? I just want answers on the logic.

You have to leave enough times to get a penalty. Maybe they aren’t leaving as much as you overall.

That only makes sense because they play comp when I am not online (due to crossplay limitations) so I end up getting screwed over due to the leader when we play again in qp.
