Does Blizzard have any objections to someone playing Overwatch 2 through the Boosteroid cloud service?
The folks at Boosteroid said that where I live, in Brazil, they are taking the final steps to install datacenters.
I currently play without any problems on GeForceNow, but with Boosteroid I don’t know how Blizzard will react to this, as I wouldn’t like to be falsely banned just for playing on the cloud service.
Just like it works on GeForceNow, there is no access to the file system or the file explorer, which makes it impossible to cheat. At most, we can change the game’s language, just like what happens on GeForceNOW…
I’m leaving GeForceNow because of the abusive practices in subscription prices and the abusive practices of access restrictions (like, even if you’re a Priority subscriber, if your queue bypass hours run out, you’ll have to wait in queue again, no problem, but you’re forced to watch ads and the sessions only last 30 minutes, which is completely absurd). That’s where Boosteroid comes in. In addition to not having a session time limit, although the price is a little more expensive, it still doesn’t have as many absurdities as GeForceNow is doing. Apparently, NVIDIA investing and generating billions in revenue with AI is not enough to maintain the gaming cloud service… And GFN providers are forced to follow these rules.
