Ok so people say that toxic, sexist, racist and homophobic players harrasses and insult them for a reason that is stupid. People would always say that Mute. Report and move on. But that doesnt stop them from harrassing in the team and match chat. So what if we had an option to blur out or straight up censor the chat ? With that, toxic players will become powerless in insulting and harrassing people, and the only thing they can do is report in silence.

I think there should be a setting to just turn all comms off.
Rather than having to do it in match. Id rather not have comms. Just introduce a simple ping system, and get comms out of there. Lovely.
Match chat can be turned off too bruv

You can mute all match chat and set options to OFF to limit exposure
to comms. Blizzard can’t do everything for you

You can already hide the chat.

Ctrl+Shift+C or write “/hidechat” in chat, you are welcome.

Remap CTRL+SHIFT+C to ‘ or Z IMO. If I’m not mistaken, the /hidechat command only clears currently visible text.
Please reply to my post if this is not the case so I can edit my post to reflect accurate information.
