I don’t spend enough time on twitch to know this stuff
It’s short of “difference”.
So “heal diff” is a BM shorthand for “Our healers were better/worse than your healers.”
Say you have a mirror matchup of the hero you’re playing on the other team… like Doom.
“Doom dif” from the winning team’s Doom is basically saying “I’m better than you and you’re the reason why your team lost.”
It’s just more toxic bs.
It CAN be less toxic if say you owned the other doom as doom and they said Doom dif. Then it’s a high-five. But I mostly see it being used to BM after the other guys win.
diff either means difference or difficulty though in ow chat they probably mean difference. “x diff” usually means that the game or round was won or lost because of x.
A “DIF” is a “Dad I’d Friend,” as in “on Facebook.”
You don’t need to watch twitch to understand this, I understood it when I saw it first time in some random QP game. It means difference.
Thanks for clarifying. I’ve seen a lot of people saying this recently (It never happened the last time I played comp).
In this quick play game the enemy tanks kept spamming “tank diff”. When we finally won it felt so nice to say it right back at them lol.
never talk smack before the win
I still find it funny when people don’t know what it means when I say “Staples”
How wholesome!
