Just had the world’s most obvious aimbot in a game.
Widow literally aiming at the floor and scoring kills.
I type
“Your Widow is cheating btw, watch the replay afterwards and please report”
I was told to shut up, nobody cares, “he’s not cheating”, “not even hacks”, “report this guy for fake reports” etc etc…
You’ve created an environment where calling out people obviously cheating is more likely to get you banned than them. It’s not OK.

chances are those clowns were queued with the cheater. having the game go free to play opened up the floodgates for cheaters

Don’t know your rank or region but in low ranks people rarely believe since not many people in those ranks can recognize cheats. In higher ranks people start to believe when someone is doing good and in GM it often just takes someone saying it. Or like Fren said they are queued with the cheater and call the accusations fake.
I can guarantee though that the cheater is more likely to get banned and doubt you will either way. He is getting 5x “cheating” reports per match by the opposing team and you get 5x “abusive chat” reports for that one match. Basically he is at risk of a perma-ban and you’re at risk of a “don’t be mean” message.

happened to me for calling out regular throwers in comp they also leave so i dont know how they arent ban considering the amount of times i have seen them do that sheit
Were these people in a group with the cheater? If they were genuinely staring at the floor cheating it’s likely those people were just trying to bug you.
never call it in game tough… you need to watch replay after a game, and THEN - only THEN make decision. i allready reported 3-4…
If you know they are a cheater when loading into the match, or you and your teammates literally see it in the killcam, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t. Sometimes people draw games, a lot of the time people will mass-report.
it was obviously the whole team speaking about them. both matches, i watched the replay in both games and idk how describe what to see there.
i will day and make a new post without naming anything and just post the clips. i reported them anyway - and if noone reports they just keep doing it.
In destiny 2 i got in 1 season 15 people banned. (notification when login) it is litterly the best screenshott session ever xD
Yeah the report confirmation is in Overwatch, too.
Mid diamond-low masters OW1, low Diamond currently climbing OW2. all 3 roles.
I know when somebody is cheating, I also know that when a widow is aiming at the ground, shoots, and gets a headshot kill… that ain’t legit.
That sucks, and what’s worse is just talking about your suspension can get you in trouble as well. The system is backwards
You’re calling someone bad, that is worthy of a silence. Keep those opinions to yourself, you’re not helping anyone by insulting them.
