Calling All Current Switch Players!

If you are still experiencing the same sound and fps issues since the PatchiMarchi event, please post here! We need to make ourselves known and heard! Hopefully Blizzard will hear our cries and respond with updates and fixes. Thank you for your time.

You have my sword.

I’ll be obnoxious like a good Doomfist.

Here! I am 100% with this. Overwatch Switch needs the same love as PC or any other platform that OW its currently at.

Please Blizzard, please fix the frame drops and sound bugs, it’s been a month. I really want to play and i even forced myself of playing it but it is awful losing team fights because you can’t aim at all thanks to the terrible fps drops… not even my brother wants to play anymore because of this. I even bought a Switch Lite just to play Overwatch portable even more and the same week i got it was the same week that parchimarchi broke the game…

At least say something :frowning:

Sound bugs don’t occur as often as when the pachimarchi update dropped but they do still happen for me, pretty much exclusively for ultimates, haven’t gotten any fps issues since the pachimarchi event but I won’t doubt that many people still experience them.

Yeah the ults, if they aren’t loud, they have a weird reverb. I noticed this odd change when playing MH. Lucio and Sombra’s both aren’t really loud, but you can hear a weird noise that wasn’t originally there. As far as fps goes, I notice the drops more with certain heroes.

Do you play docked or handheld? It’s very unlikely you haven’t had any drops. They’re quite noticeable.

Handheld lol, you’d expect drops but I have very rarely gotten them since the hog event, I play mercy so maybe it’s a certain hero thing. Definitely is a problem though.

Almost a month with no fix! please blizzard do something :frowning:

Yeah, I think it affects some heroes more than others.

I play very mobile heroes like Doom, Ball or Tracer and my sensitivity is pretty high, so every time I make a quick turn the game literally can’t keep up, the input lag gets to absurd levels when both teams are too close and many things are happening at the same time.

I haven’t been able to play on Switch since patch 1.58 was released. It makes my eyes hurt even after short sessions of testing.

I swear the fps drop below 15 when things get close and personal and everyone’s popping abilities.

My only guess is that they are going to fix this when Archives goes live.

Hopefully that starts this upcoming week because I’m tired of waiting on a fix that may never come.

After the first patch that broke everything, I reinstalled and stopped having the weird, loud sounds (still awful fps, though).

Once April Fool’s event started, my loud sounds were back. Reinstalled again and it fixed the sounds, but still unplayable fps.

I also don’t want to have to reinstall every time there is an update as it takes hours to do so (and doesn’t even fix the whole issue!)

I think all of us just want to know if a fix is in the works. Just a “hey, we know there’s an issue and are working on a fix” and we can be patient for it.

What all did you do to uninstall it because I did that too and still have the sound issues.

I deleted the software (not archive, straight up delete) and then went into the eshop to download it anew. Because of the file size, though, it takes ages.

That’s what I did. I still get sound issues. Should I also delete all my save data when I uninstall?
