Never fails, win a few games, start climbing, and BOOM, first match I lose is volatile. I’m convinced that they’re still using MMR to determine where they think your SR should be. I NEVER, and I mean NEVER calibrate up, only down when I lose one on a win streak.

… and by this do you mean the kicked in the face, hard roll, more likely to get hit by lightening than win, loss?
I got it after a game with a leaver most of the game. Makes no sense why I go down 20% for 4 v 5

I never gotten volatile, but I’ve gotten calibrated on wins. It didn’t give me much SR , so I don’t think it matters. Just need to win a lot.
It legitimately seems they are actively putting one of the worst systems in place purposely so they can go back to standard MMR that people were complaining about.

You’ve cloned. Got into a new division or rank. the next game or 2 will be volatile while it figures out if you should be there or not.
If you’re then getting slapped about, you probably climbed without improving. So back down you go.
I know you’re trolling, and nobody pays you any mind, but even that explanation is unacceptable. If I don’t belong there, give me my 20% hit, not the 35% because MMR says so.

They are still using MMR to rate your games after or before each win or loss. Nothing has changed on that. All they did was a soft reset to peoples physical SR and a small reset to MMR but, the system is still the same.
This, it’s still the exact same matchmaking system just a bit more transparent on how bad it actually really is
Well I was commenting on the SR element.
Where you were 2567 in days of old, you are now Plat 5 67%, and previously Plat 5 and totally oblivious.
The match maker, has always been basic. It sees your MMR and that is it. Can’t really do a lot more than it does.
Not always, Im playing almost 3 entire ranks lower then normal and have still gotten volatile plus reversal at the same time.
If this was ow1 I would say 100% yes ranked to high. Somethin is definitely broken
