All these QP threads about leaver penalties and what not. Just had a match where we had no tank, a Zen who didnt want to heal, and then the enemy team stating our entire team was throwing the match because we had no tank.
COme on folks, use your brains: Is QP serious or not? Should folks swap to tank because there isnt one? Is that a requirement? What about bailing on the entire match because there is no tank?
Had a dps trolling a game, asked if they could swap and got Its just qp so I went Hog and proceeded to just flank and go backline for hooks and spawn camped a moira, got accused of throwing, these players are just hypocrites
It’s in the eye of the beholder, but there are still rules. I, for example, go to QP to play off role and practice other characters. I still play to win though, because screw losing. I can’t help that the MM decides who is on my or the enemy team.
There is not nor I believe will ever be a GM only QP so we’re all in the same boat, except I tend not to take a loss seriously even though I play to win.
People are going to come in here and we’ll hear the usual complaints, but that’s just my two cents.
Yes, it’s just QP, but when the entire team collectively choose not to run tanks in open queue while getting rolled, then they actually did throw the game as a team. This is the one problem with Open Queue not requiring any tanks – sure you can get away with it, but when the competition gets serious, there are no safety rails to steer the team in the right direction.
Open queue does need a minumum 1-tank per team, 2 max to fix this issue. It would likely encourage more players to try 6v6 Open Queue if 1-2 tanks per team becomes a requirement.
In Quick Play, rolling your head on the keyboard can be effective.
The best proof is that this is how Doomfist is played and how he performs best.
It’s a secret that Doomfist OTP didn’t want to be known. It’s too late now.
It even seems that it’s the same with Genji.
There’s no integrity to the matchmaker in QP. It’s probably easier going into most games with the mindset that it isn’t serious. Leaver penalty or not.
I played a game last night with a 2-4-0 comp and one of the dps typed “heals?!” into chat. If you can’t notice we don’t have a support, how can I take that seriously? If they were implying someone should swap, why didn’t they? I could’ve, but I just played 5 games as supp
Can we see a replay code? I’m curious about this one as with QP you will always have a tank, unless for some reason you never got a tank role filled. Which I doubt.
