I feel liek the Devs made a completely huge mistake massively overbuffing rein ever since he got buffed i swear he gets nearly 90 percent of the POTG’s seen now in days…no reason to keep him so massively overpowered like mccree and reaper are

Rein may seem like he’s broken but once you pan out and properly learn other Tanks he’s by far one of the most useless Tanks, without any synergy, he relies heavily on a Zarya or D.Va to enable him because he otherwise just can’t close the gap between him and the enemy
Lower ranks don’t put that pressure on him and as a result he can close the gap and start playing whack-a-mole
Regardless, the latest buff was just the complete wrong way to buff him, he needed something to help close the gap, like charge-cancelling, lower ranks wouldn’t optimise this so it wouldn’t have made as much of a difference down there like the instant-KO of his ultimate does

but Bastion is literally the worst character in the game
I have like 3 hours on him and I will say it with confidence
His pickrate in every rank is below 1%

its pickrate i think is higher than that i see that op bucket of bolts more often lately as people discovered its op

Rein is one of the worst tank options currently.

ive only gotten lucky shots to take him down as Tracer or echo its not right that rein gets to be op like bastion but the devs arent paying attention to us they should realize only listening to owl is a huge mistake

They aren’t only balancing for OWL like people keep trying to claim, it’s getting kinda ridiculous people still think that at this point.
If such were the case, Brigitte and Baptiste would have been dumpstered months or even years ago.
most of the changes are because of them i feel like after OWL came out and the changes that came from them have made the game less fun for people unless you play a certain op character
If such were the case, wed be seeing brig and bap, the two gatekeepers of several DPS and tank compositions, get sent to the guillotine.
If we only balanced around OWL, youd be seeing heroes that are broken in low ranks but weak in OWL getting buffed.

So true to the fact it’s painful. But whenever you say Reinhardt needs a nerf the tank playing-the-martyr players call for your head.

Reinhardt suffers from powercreep as well, even if he’s objectively one of the weakest heroes in the game compared to the other tanks since he can’t multitask. I’m glad that he’s still played a lot in sub diamond ranks, but I suppose that’s just because people naturally gravitate towards brawly comps.
The solution is NOT to buff Reinhardt more to bring him in line with other tanks. The solution is to nerf/rework the DLC tanks.
