Buffing Burst damage isn’t going to make people want to play tank more. More or less, these changes are good but over-buffing genji is to much. Hanzo buff for spam damage wasn’t even needed. Moria’s makes no sense…? Moria was fine I don’t understand why her damage was nerfed? To appeal to the genji mains?
Other than less, we we’re hoping for tank balance changes but you know, we get a patch for DPS players to make them happier.
And to the people who are ‘claiming’ that genji is a F tier hero, your over your head. Genji has NEVER been a F-tier hero. D.Va is a F-Tier hero, Orisa is a F-tier Hero, Winston is in a bad spot.

That wasn’t the goal of the buffs at all. There were no dev comments for these changes but I can only assume the goal was to bring him up to par with other dive dps.

I think all tanks excluding sigma, rein and Zarya are pretty bad right now. Genji needed some buffs but I’m still not sure these were the right ones, I’ll need to let some time pass by so we can correctly judge them. As for moira, I heavily dislike her but I do agree the nerfs weren’t warranted. Hanzo needs to not be able to headshot with storm arrow or something for his buff to be fair

Doesn’t really seem like the goal. It seems to take more skill away from him to appeal to people.
And WHY DID THEY BUFF THE DURATION? 1.5 SECONDS IS ENOUGH AND NOW YOUR ABLE TO CANCEL IT?

I would’ve preferred Storm Arrows staying at 60, but his arrow speed nerf reverted.
Genji not really. I mean he does not have enough burst damage to kill a tank with out extra shurikens. And his deflect bot much cause winston, zarya, go theough deflect

Yeah I mean I agree with dva needing buffs, I’m pretty surprised this experimental wasn’t a tank change to be honest, since we have such a lack of updates however any tank that isn’t rein sigma to be bad. I’m a road main who occasionally plays other off tanks and it is getting pretty bad rn

if you compare genji to heroes like doomfist widow ashe mccree thats right
and you would see btw that he is doing absolutely bad

ok, we don’t want your hero to be trash. dive heroes gotta stick together. if it’s ever genji’s meta then d.va will come along.
I understand that Genji needs buffs however I understand why some of the dps roster doesn’t need to be meta since theirs is bigger than tanks and supports combined. The priority should be tanks MAYBE supports as of this time but dps is pretty shocking to see.

If owl players use genji more, it will raise youtube view counts and give their execs more money cuz “genji is fun to watch”.
That is the only thing that matters, not something as plebeian as ranked tank experience lol.

I completely understand that and that’s why I feel sort of helpless asking for tank buffs, since I know nothing will happen, because you gotta remember this is a business we’re talking about
