this experimental is a complete joke. focus on nerfing the broken heroes instead of buffing something that doesn’t need to be touched. power creep 2.0 (bap changes good but he needs way more nerfs)

Yep. Rein damage buff is ridiculous.
Bap nerfs are a slap on the wrist and won’t change the fact that he’s too strong and literally outheals Moira while doing almost as much damage as Zen and having IF and mobility and better range and…
D.va change is the only good one but her DM still has a horrible range that’s letting hitscan/snipers run rampant.
I’m dissapointed because Blizz had gotten the game to SUCH a great spot 2 months ago before the Brig buff patch and it’s gone downhill since.
And yet the worst part is even tho Rein does stupid amounts of DPS now his barrier still struggles to let him push to even REACH Double Shield comps.

just revert DM range nerfs. if they wanna buff rein just return his 3s shatter. bap needs his lamp reworked to just something else entirely (damage reduction maybe), window reverted and healing nerfed back to 50. no clue what to do with sigma. he shouldn’t have existed in the first place.

Honestly depressing.
All the pros saying the same thing , lots of community members on the forums and social media saying that same thing = not doing that?
What happened to listening to actual player feedback like they were doing with the 4-5 patches 2 months ago? That resulted in everyone praising the balance team for how great the game felt? Where 6 tanks and 5 supports were viable?

I have no idea what they are doing now. There’s a lot of things that need to be done like these bap nerfs and stuff should have been the absolute minimum but instead just a slap on the wrist and see ya in 3 weeks.

Yep and it’s so frustrating bc now that we know these are the changes, we have to wait a week for them to go live, and then wait another week for a new exp card and HOPE it has better changes, and then wait another week for THAT card to go live
I don’t wanna wait 3+ weeks for better balance. Not when everyone is telling them what to do right now.

not gonna lie I just don’t even wanna play this game at all this season it’s just so bad every time I queue for games I just leave frustrated. They need to nerf bap and rework his immortality field ASAP. Throw THAT on experimental because it’s an actual experiment vs just a heads up for the patch notes next week. After that they need to nerf Sigma (no idea how because if it was up to me I’d just remove one of his abilities so he can’t do everything) and revert a lot of the dumb buffs (revert 25hp for cree sym) and set Soldier’s ammo back to 25 and Helix to 7-8s. And nerf Ashe so she can’t get ult charge during BOB when he’s active. After that they need to deal with hog/zarya/ball comps so MT’s can be played more and the game would be golden imo.

They decided we had enough fun with other tanks and decide to buff reinhardt out of the wazoo so we got no options but to select him as main tank. He needs to be the only possible option, no exceptions.
As our lord and saviour actiblizz has intended it to be.

Oh me neither, I haven’t played a single game of comp this season. Just been playing WoW and sometimes QP in Overwatch. The balance really was a depressing punch to the gut especially after they’d spent so many patches finally making the game ENJOYABLE only to ruin it again.

They just had to boost their MAU numbers for this quarter. Then we’re back to business as usual when wow takes over. =)
did placements, sometimes doing QP in OW or playing with friends (though most of them decided the game is trash as well and stopped playing it) and otherwise I actually just went back to TF2. Until they sort this stuff out or a change happens to one of my main heroes I just have no incentive to play this season lol

They would have to nerf 5 or 6 tanks just for the Rein and DVA changes to make sense. At some point you buff the weak thing versus nerfing literally everything else.

wrong buffs. wrong nerfs. they needed to do much more. like I said above in the convo if they wanted to buff Rein or DVa they just need to revert DM range nerfs and the shatter nerf and they’d be fine. after that they just need to nerf off tanks to make MT more viable and you’ve got a good game.
Sigma has an insanely bloated kit. Nerf sigma and bap, double shield is gone.
