Make his shield expire after 30 seconds instead of 10 or whatever it is currently
lol, his shield usuallly last less than 5 second before enemy break it.

I always though it would be cool if his shield didn’t break all at once. Like each hexagon had like 25hp or something

Did you know a dome is the strongest shape a structure can have? Yet his dome sheild is the easiest to break. Fantasic.
Since the Reaper buff, Winston is tricky to play. I think there isn’t another character with such a hard counter in the game.
Execpt, you know, any short range character(Junkrat,Sym,etc.) into Pharah or Widow
Or Hammond who gets hard countered by a hero with hard CC simply existing.
Winston doesn’t get countered by Reaper all too much. In fact, dive has almost always been the biggest counter to a Reaper. Winston is, of course, the main tank in dive. I’d say a bigger counter in the game would be Sombra against a Hammond.
His shield lasts 6 seconds and Winston is one of the best balanced heroes in the game that is insane if played well. He is fine.

Yeah, I kind of wish for some buffs for Winston, but everyone pretty much agrees that he’s pretty balanced. You just have to play smart with him. If you play your cards right, you can contest a Reaper, despite everyone claiming that he hard counters Winston. Reaper definitely has the upper hand no doubt, but if Winston can jump in and out of his shield at the right moments, he can take about half of Reaper’s health before needing to leap away. Always know when to throw down a barrier or not, as sometimes in team fights, you don’t need to deploy the barrier and should hold onto it for a more crucial moment, such as for blocking Dva’s ult.

lol, Winston doesn’t need any buffs like that. His shield is only 600 and can break easily if enemies focus it.
As a Moira one trick, even i focus the bubble because it blocks my healing.

They should make it where you have to actually destroy his shield device on the ground in order to destroy the shield.
The last time I saw some stats, I saw that Winston was the least picked tank, and has a miserable 47% win rate.
No other tank had less than 49%, I think.
I don’t know how accurate these data were, but Winston is relegated to crap tier nowadays.

Winston definitely needs a shield buff
Winston needs some buff so that you can actually run him in solo queue. Hammond has eclipsed him as the go-to dive tank (especially in the chaos of ranked).
