YES I KNOW ITS MEANT FOR THE TURRET, but why does it do damage then? that 55 damage isnt for the turret, its for hammering enemy players. its so close range as well, so damage needs buffs.

The hammer is buffed. Every other character’s melee is like 30 damage, and the hammer’s 55.
Torb needs no buffs. If he needs anything, it’s just to be shown this bit of ground. This section of filthy dirt. Right here, by a Tracer’s foot.
Where he belongs.

They should just make it so his Quick Melee is the hammer and drop the second weapon slot.

This! plus a mechanic where hitting with the rivet’s primary causes them to be stuck with the rivet for a few seconds then melee’ing that rivet causes bonus melee damage, that way you have once last chance to end that annoying diving genji or idk…a stubborn to kill tank like Ram or Mauga. I get it wouldn’t be practical in most fights but i do love a good hammer kill.
It would genuinely be so funny to see Torbs just running around hammering enemies

Technically not the same as you’re talking another weapon vs quick melee.
Right click throws the hammer, allowing him to bonk enemies from afar.

Torb’s hammer deals more dps than some ultimates.
Aside from the passive ones…it outdpses Moira’s Coalesence. Of course speaking in terms of only hitting one enemy. Moira’s Coal should be used for multiple targets, but point still stands that Torb can kill you faster with his hammer than what an Ulti can do.
If you’re having issues using the hammer just use it with Overload.
If you somehow manage to hit Ana, Widow, Hanzo or Ashe with the hammer, it should be considered a headshot and instantly kill them

Hammer can now crit but you need to jump to strike enemy heads…
For True Torb warriors 55 is enough

uhh you dont get it, do you. Coalescence is a long ranged piercing beam with self heal, movement buff, and heals your teammates for 140 heals per sec. torb hammer is an instant death wish when using it as a weapon.
Truer words have never been spoken.
People who play tracer, one of the longest running overpowered heroes in the history of the game, complaining about torb, one of the worst heroes in the history of the game, is rich.

Torb is a skilled engineer, he can add electro magnetic features in it so he can throw it and it will com back to him like Thors hammer
I mean JunkerQueen can do it with Gracie (her knife) so why not torbs hammer, it fits and should have been a feature long time ago

What?? How can i run after someone with my hammer out and see them struggling to accept their fate? That would mean the end of that.
Also nanoed torb hammering into a grav is fun as hell for anyone who hasn’t tried it.
