I want to play her a lot more often, and probably so many other people as well, but she’s trash.
I don’t know what her real problem is, maybe her damage, maybe her cooldowns, maybe both. Maybe she should be a hero that constantly bother enemies, or maybe a hero that has to take that single right opportunity to do something great, but for the moment, she’s neither one nor the other, because she can’t! Can we get an exp card for her please?

I don’t think she’s gonna get a buff anytime soon, unless she gets reworked.
People find her way too unfun to play against for that to happen, no one likes having their kit disabled for 5-10 seconds.

Agreed, she needs a rework so she can slowly move away from hack and focus towards dpsing.
Sombra has to be the most hated heros of all time. Not kidding there was Brig level hate for when she was meta for 2 weeks.
Even Super said in an OWL interview if he was dev he would remove her or nerf her into 0% pickrate.

Except they are the complete opposite.
Sombra is only good in the highest level, where teams communicate a lot.
Bastion is only good in low ranks, cause… yeah…

Not saying people don’t like her, though.
She just needs her 75% mov. speed back while being invis. That’s all.
Her problem is they need to nerf her EMP.
Then buff her normal equipment.
To make try generally more playable for less coordinated teams.

She needs less downtime and better hack UI, so team follow up is more consistent.
She spends too much time in the game not doing enough while if she gets a hack off, which is unreliable, the follow up is rarely given.
Everything she does requires set up and the reward you get is not even fully in your hands. All while she is competing with heroes which can just get picks in less than a second.
Nope, they already did nerf EMP. Shorter duration and longer cast time.
What you just suggested was said about old Sombra. Now they nerfed her without compensation and you guys suggest the same thing over again pretending the nerf didnt already happen.

mostly only ability reliant heros that are unfun themselves to play against like genji doomfist.
tell sombra to hack my widow or spamzo or smashe turn aroudn and calmly shoot her till she goes away rinse repeat.
Only tanks may be have it hard with her, but they have it hard with everyone.
She needs her old stealth and translocator and old hack ( cast time 0.8 sec / no cooldawn if it canceled / 6 sec duration ) . She lose a lot of time while she running with only +50% speed and when someone broke her translocator she have to put new ( sometimes you are dead because someone destroy your translocator ) . Current Sombra have to put her translocator so far to it be reliable , it means what she will run a lot time with only 50% speed. She fight with enemyes much less than old Sombra because she have poor mobility ( breakable translocator + slow stealth ) and it means what she will gets ult by longer time than old Sombra. And of course she need better hack UI, to better show your teammates who is hacked. In OWL she is used like " invizible camera " and it’s so sad . I mean maybe they return Sombra only for OW ?!
To be honest, I thinking counting the number of changes is like saying 5 pennies is worth more than 1 quarter, because there’s 5 of them.
Sombra doesn’t need a buff. Teamates brains need.
They either need to remove some power from hack and move her towards DPS a bit more, or they need to just move her support and let her keep lesser damage but let hack add a heal over time if you hack an ally or something.

sombra is absolutely a joke on her own,
that is why she is good in OWL where people have an almost unreal level of communication and bad on ladder where we all more or less do whathever we want
sure you can hack doomfist 50 times but unless your team actually kills him there is not much you can do about it, your damage is pretty mediocre comparatively
She’s trash at gm as well… And I think it’s stupid to keep her so trash just because not the 1% (gm), but the 0.01% of players (owl) can make her useful…
yep, it is, but its not the first time sombra is balanced arround OWL,
there was a time, a looong time ago that it was admitted that sombra wasnt buffed because she was doing good in OWL,
sure it could have changed by now, but still
Only way Sombra can get buffed is through a hack rework or If they moved some of the power from her hack into other abilities. As it is now the only way for Sombra to be good is in OWL with players who already communicate with each other or with a 900IQ God like Fitzyhere.
