Her damage was already bad but now it’s awful, literally every hero outdamages and outdpses her. It’s impossible to kill anyone unless you play in platinum and lower ranks, maybe even in diamonds, but that depends. Also the translocator change is still bad, just revert it tbh.

Sombra’s rework is easily one of the best things devs did in OW2, so nope, they won’t revert to anything.
Also, just hit more of your shots. If you’re struggling to get kills as Sombra after projectile buffs…

Even plat players can make good use of one of the strongest heroes of this patch. I am guessing bronze or silver.

i play sombra a ton and yea NO to that. i hate facing good sombras when im not her
maybe buffing hack again or ult but nothing damage related, i do love the troll aspect of her lol

I didn’t assume anything about your rank. It’s just a matter of warming before playing, aim training etc. I like to advise this to people, but they don’t seem to care so I didn’t say anything. I’m testing Sombra right now, and she doesn’t seem bad if you hit most of your shots.
She had a 6sec ability that did 110 hp on its own. All you had to do was land a massive projectile shot and you were rewarded with doing 50% of a heroes health for free.
Sombra does 480dmg over 3seconds now. You originally only needed like 18% acc to do 90dmg with virus to kill someone without ever reloading. Now, you need at least 29% acc to kill someone in the 3sec after virus before reload on 250hp max.
However, all hitscan accuracy went up and you have a the healing reduction passive. Not much should have changed.

I don’t think they’ll readily give anyone a damage increase as it would defeat the purpose of increasing health in the first place.

I was making her work just fine last night in QP. Really, the most I’d do to her is just buff the total damage of Virus by 10-20 tops. The worst this has really done is delay engagements a little. Now I hack some people, TL away, then hit with Virus when TL is 2-3 seconds from recharging since the target will still be hacked for a few seconds after TL is back.
You do not get to say that if you are missing shots as Sombra. Maybe you should derank if you cannot handle her at your rank. Albeit, I have no idea who you would play given you are struggling on one of the easiest…

Not really. The health increase is to offset the bullet size increase.
Sombra attacking at close range does not really benefit from this increase like the other hitscans.
So in essence, this, nerfed sombra’s dps.
And let’s not talk about Zen’s +75 total hp for absolutely no reason.

They already did increase few characters damage, like rein, brig and winston, also that is the point. Every other character has so much damage that the HP changes isn’t really that of a difference for them. While Sombra can just fart on her enemies while being oneshot.
This has gotta be a bait post. Sombra actually has very good damage. If you’re allowing another DPS to out-dps you, you’re playing her wrong. Translocator change was made to deal with the frustration with her get-out-of-jail-free card that existed with the old ability, while also encouraging her to have a more active role in fights.
She is also happens to currently be a meta pick.
