Holy I just played him since the nerf, I feel for you reaper mains how do you even kill anyone anymore. his damage is awlful and even hitting someone with every shot you have to reload just to kill them.
Are you saying you can’t kill someon in 8 hits?
Reaper is so 2000 and late. Just pick Hog or Dva if you want a true shotgun hero, and you do not need to endure queue times. I get it, he is edgy, I love that too. But at a certain point, after a few years, you just need to come to grip with the reality that they don’t care about Reaper.
i think he has serious potential as a squishy targeting flanker. most players i see still use him as a tank buster (which doesn’t work after the spread rework) which is why i think he lacks results
just played him qp took me 12 shots only missing one to kill a mercy, I just to kill her in 5
sounds like bad aim to me, his damage went down by 14% yet it took you 120% more shots to kill them
Tbf if you cant kill anyone as reaper in 8 shots thats more of a player problem than a balance problem
Eh, tanks, especially with armor, getting heals. It often does take more than eight unless you are playing super risky and barrel snuffing their head.
The rework was a total fail. So i can kill squishies with 3 shots at 6 meters if I hit every shot now but wait I can do that with mecree aswell and with him up to over 20 meters. And with hanzo the “sniper” I only need 2. He lost all of his tank busting for being a weak only 6 meter meccree.
Give him the same health as torb 200 hp and 50 armor and he will maybe be as strong as he was BEFORE the rework.
As a Reaper main the problems of Reaper are not the shotguns, are Wraith Form that is his ONLY ability that can save you in combat, Shadow Step needs to be reworked and be instant also the fact that more than half of the rooster of Overwatch heroes have something that counters him, the only way for Reaper to be good again is to give him 2 charges of wraith form, this is the only way for help him, not the damage, not the health but wraith form needs to be better, 2 charges or 6 seconds of cooldown, about the things that can DESTROY your game i can do a list for everyone, so:

2 Wraith forms can help him to avoid ALL this things that can stop you and Death Blossom, the truth is that Reaper needs Sombra help for do something, problem is that nobody play her because of Mc Cree, why Mc Cree? Because Mc Cree does Sombra job better and safer, Mc Cree can stop all the ULTS that Sombra can stop, he has a sniper and a shotgun in his hand, he has everything, that’s the reason why Sombra is at the bottom, if Mc Cree didn’t had that “flashbang” now Sombra will be a LOT more used 
Truthfully after returning him to 6 per pellet in having no issues. I think he’s better than he’s ever been bar his 50% lifesteal.
But why the hell would we want Reaper to be a squishy targeting flanker. Every other single flanker already does that job but better! Tracer, Sombra, Echo, and Genjo all can flank and target squishes. Reaper was the one flanker that was good to target tanks, and now he isnt.
So instead of them trying to rework him to fill into a role already massively overcrowded, let him have his niche!
the only flankers that have a low enough TTK to consistently kill people in the enemy backline are echo and arguably reaper (sometimes doomfist). tracer has potential to do alot of damage, but is best for pepper the backline and recalling to escape since she doesnt consistently kill on flanks (sombra has the same playstyle). genji off angles to farm ult off of tanks and occasionally threatens isolated supports or off angling dps during the cleanup phase of a fight. echo and reaper are the only ones with damage outputs able to consistently kill people in the enemy backline.
im pretty sure the reason they reworked reaper was to free him from that relatively problematic niche. with that type of flanking tank-buster play style, either tanks get melted from off angles, or reaper would be melted for targeting the frontline. reaper wasnt working and they didnt want to make tanking anymore underpowered, so they tried to fit him into an easier to balance niche.
It doesnt matter if he was bad or not. What matters is that he had the niche to begin with. That particular playstyle/niche is the entire reason why people like me choose to main Reaper for better or worse. I do not want my hero reworked to fit into a role already packed with other heroes.
The entire game of Overwatch was created arround these heroes, and the unique qualities that made them what they are. It’s the reason people could spend hundreds of hours invested on one hero because they were so many unique heroes with unique abilities and roles. The more they push heroes away from their given roles/niches, the less unique they become. Instead we are getting to a point were heroes are becoming more and more interchangeable and less unique. That’s the point and Reaper is just another case of this. It needs to stop!
i know. reworks suck and I would much rather characters stay consistent to their original and most liked roles, but all i was saying was that he isnt bad right now. if you dont like reapers current playstyle then that is a different argument that i agree with you on, but blizzard made a change that has made reaper better as a character, regardless of a rework or not
