She’s barely a tank. She’s barely an off tank. She’s barely a damage dealer. She’s barely useful. I watched a video by a Masters player and the only time he mentioned using Dva was “don’t”. He mentioned using every other character at least once.

They did just buff her, I believe reduced cool-down on shield matrix and mini-rockets
Oh wow. I really notice that. Not. The mini rockets are less damage than Roadhog’s right click dude. The cooldown was only one issue with them. Plus, the shield matrix’s cooldown time was already small. If they did reduce the 2 seconds of not being able to use it, I barely noticed. Not only that, but it’s only decent compared to other crap in the game.
Edit: I also check, there is no Dva buff. Either you’re mistaken or lying.

Check again? It was literally the last patch. Check the June 30 patch notes.

They did buff Dva. She is much improved but my win rate on her suggests she needs more.
Bro, whatever the buff was, I don’t even notice it. But it wasn’t the cooldown on either her matrix or missiles. I know this because, today I played and they were the same.
The cooldown on matrix was 3 seconds before. Now, it’s 3 seconds.
The cooldown on the missiles? 8 second before. Now? 8 seconds.
People say “She’s not meant to do damage”, but that’s literally half of an off tank’s job. To do damage while being kind of tanky. Yet I see Sigma who is essentially a full tank with the power of more than an off tank do really good damage. I barely play Sigma and I’m already a better Sigma than I am a Dva, despite having prior experience with her. 4K hours of prior experience. Do you really think I wouldn’t have figured her out by now if I could figure out Sigma in 2 seconds? But the thing is, I don’t care to play Sigma and I barely want to.
I checked. They made it so she can fly for a bit longer. That’s cute and all, but that wasn’t much of an issue I had compared to other things. It didn’t make her THAT much better either.
We are talking about those cases when you disabled the use of the matrix and want to turn it on again (no waiting full matrix)
It’s about the delay between activating an ability and launching missiles.
The change is not significant, but pleasant.

Didn’t know the second one. I still feel like it was insignificant cause, the missiles are insignificant. You have to be up in someone’s face where you can get blasted easily. Not only that, but they miss and even if they do land? I can think of several tanks who do the same amount of damage (and more), just by pressing left click or right click and at the same distance if not further.

Well, I was more referring to her usefulness. It sucks cause I absolutely hate Hammond (WORST addition to the tank roster imho) and other tanks (Sigma being a big one) are far more useful. Roadhog too. I almost never touch Roadhog and have a much easier time living with this character and killing people just cause I know how to get a hook. But I don’t really care that much about either and I HATE Hammond with a dying passion. He’s my least favorite character period.
Sigma besides the ability to dive is just better than her in every way.

I completely and utterly agree.
His shield is pretty strong, how you can place it is unreal, he has the ability to regenerate it fairly easily, his range is really good (I think one of Dva’s biggest issues. Her range is pathetic, no matter how you slice it. Even with the missiles, they’re likely to miss from further range), his damage is very strong and can ricochet, he has that giant rock which is a great CC (Dva doesn’t even have a CC period) and his ult is far more reliable and can allow for great combo potential (Dva’s can be countered very easily, especially nowadays. And the worst part? Even if you get the suit back, you can lose it just as easily. Despite all the hard work you have to do sometimes as baby Dva too, you can lose the suit.)
She is just a bad character right now. People make so many excuses saying “Oh, she’s situational”, but there are several other tanks who are strong without needing this or that on your team. Dva is SUPER “situational” and to me, that just translates to “She’s bad. You can only use her under very specific circumstances”. Cause again, other tanks could do the same things under those circumstances, but better.

Yeah. It sucks. Which is again, why I think she could use a buff. The two things that would help her is her general damage increase. The range on them (Mainly how far they can travel before falling off as badly as they do. Especially her regular shots) and the missile damage. (Increasing it’s damage and hitbox size. They miss very consistently and even if they land, it’s like a fly scratching someone’s skin)
I mean she’s not terrible but she’s not good.
You could even remove the cooldown to her matrix at this point.
If you are going to let sigma run around being utterly broken and the best off tank for ten months then give diva something .
Zarya is fine she’s always been good and still is good in brawl comps.
Sigma just unfortunately broke the game.
Haven’t seen that before.

Yeah, and she’s still bad. I’m better off picking any other tank in the game. It sucks cause the roster is already short and I’m not a fan of some of the other tanks. I don’t care for Roadhog, don’t care about Sigma and my least favorite hero in the game is Hammond. I’d rather slam a hammer against my head than pick that degenerate character. People say he’s the most technical character, but honestly I have seen NOTHING that hard about him compared to other stuff I’ve done in the game. That, plus I just really, really don’t want to pick him. Why the hell is HE one of the few options I have? Couldn’t they think of a better design? One that’s FUN?
