Please buff Doomfist uppercut and primart fire spread but kill his punch dmg please and thank you.
I am not sure why some people are against doomfist positive changes. Yes he can be a threat and especially when he catches you unawares. Some people act as if doomfist does not take skills to execute his combos.
So yes please improve doomfist.

A nice change would be to bring back no projectile damage fall off.
Personally, Doomfist is kind of weak as a character because he has to spend so much time not doing anything of use waiting for cooldowns and having such a weak mid-range contribution.
Even Brigitte can provide better mid-range value despite being immobile because she has 30m repair packs, 20m whip shot, and 20m 4-6sec inspire buff.
Giving him some midrange projectile spam I think would be a useful way to stay handy waiting for cooldowns when in the middle of his team.
A hero built around a bunch of CC and a one-shot. Nah, I am cool with doomfist being a bad enough pick to not be in my matches.

I am saying building doomfist to have so many CC abilities, which were already a problem by that point, and a one-shot, which shouldnt exist in ow, was a mistake.
Let us not compound that mistake by incentivizing people to play him.
Well he gets countered by everything and their Grandma and canât even get within his effective range half the time I donât see whatâs do annoying when he hardly even has a chance to deal the damage.
Honestly, this game is filled with knockbacks and doomfistâs knockback effects are hardly a huge problem for anyone when you can have games with brig, pharah, hammond, hog, etc. floating around. Knockback itself is not inherently lethal on its own. It set-ups some amazing team play.
If I have a doomfist around and Iâm playing hog or s76 that character flying up in the air should be a free target to hit.

There is some truth to it. Honestly, saying its an awareness issue sounds much like the camping in full CoD kind of game where ambushing gives very little counter play. A person just camps in a bush all game and ambushes whoever comes out.
People complained about how Mercy might have hidden mid match waiting for a full team death to use resurrection. Though I have seen my fair share of doomfists just sitting around like a Sombra player waiting for teams to engage 6v5 and camping hidden around a corner waiting for stuff to happen. Very engaging gameplay regardless. Screws his team trying to remain hidden.
Then, all of a sudden you hear this punch charging up and have no idea where its coming from other than just its nearby due to volume. A second later he falls in from above mid punch and kills someone because he preempted the only 1.4sec charge giving someone even less reaction time from a 2nd floor or corner.
Is it smart play to do some yolo stuff like that? Probably not. Does it work? Enough that its very annoying and can work. Exactly the same way as a person hiding in a bush prone and jumps the first person that walks by.
The other thing too is Doomfist has some weird flying mechanics. There are some weird stall mechanics with slam and flying off walls that can make tracking him hard to spot particularly again for characterâs who already have their attention split. An Ana who has to scope someone to actually shoot far away or always stay pointed at their allies to get healing done.
In the end, everyone hates ambush characters. Too much similarity to camping in a corner in some death match game (of any FPS) for kills. That is the style of play most people dislike with Doomfist and works enough that people keep doing it.

Dont nerf punch damage, its the only thing that works in his kit âsometimes evenâ, he will be dumpester fire if he cant one shot, its like asking for genji blade to not be damage-boostable, its his gimmick and identity.
And yet somehow ACTUAL camping characters like snipers and hitscans are given a free pass in the eye of the community. What a joke.
my personal issue, is that doom is all cc. thatâs his entire kid outside of his primary fire and passive. Buffing him how blizz usually does it, is probably gonna mean less recovery on uppercut, a cd decrease for slam, and a 15% decrease in ult charge.
Eh I think making every stun even shorter (to somewhere like 0.3-0.4 s) and more frequent works better to buff him and every tank at the same time.
