Geoff and team, do you honestly think Doomfist is in a good spot?
The majority of the Damage roster is kinda subpar. But itâs unavoidable considering how redundant they all are and how little they provide to team comps.
Thereâs a reason that itâs the lowest winrate role
To me doomfistâs hp gains was the only thing that needed a toning back. His prime fire adjustment and ultimate nerf was a tad to strong. Doomfist and junkrat need small reverts to their original primary fire.

Id long been curious how doomfist wouldve felt with his maximum shield capacity reduced.
I feel his shield gain itself is fine- and necessary due to how he operates, and in MOST circumstances not a problem. But I feel it going to 400 may have been an issue.
Id been curious how say 350 would feel.
Not with his current garbo kit of course.

The fact that any members here are happy with heroes in the dumpster is what i view to be a large problem with this community.
I dont want any heroes there- No hero deserves to be trash in most situations.
I agree, but at the same time when he was strong he was the most frustrating hero Iâve ever had to deal with for months. There has to be some kind of middle ground.
Revert BOTH slam nerfs and rework the ult, simple

Yes I do. I didnât have a minimum chance of fighting Doomfist and he had a âguarantee safe killâ with his ultimate. Because of that heâs in the garbage, thankfully.
This game shouldnât be like that and the devs agree.
Moira sucks. She is just healing and nothing else. There is no depth, no nothing.
I feel some context may be necessary here.
Doomfist where 9/10 players exist on ladder- operated at a nearly 50% win rate (notably gold and plat, which themsleves house a combined 3/5s of the player base).
His win rate was a little high in the upper tiers- such as GM, which represents 1% of the player base
But, context. Doomfist was winning about 2~ games more out of 100, than the predominant meta picks at the time. Heroes who are picked basically every game, often on both sides at once.
At his best doomfist was picked about once every other game by one side.
As strategies changed, and more importantly counters got buffs- both of these rates went down a little.
To go with this doomfist was basically a non issue in the profession scene as well
Doomfist was not unbalanced. He was quite arguably at a balance level where most heroes should be. Under the 50% mark at lower tiers, at the 50% mark at mid tiers, and above the mark at the highest tiers. Where- while he was powerful in situations that were realistic to encounter, he wasnt so powerful and vital to the meta that he became a must pick.
I want MORE heroes like that. Not less.
He was kneecapped not because he wasnt balanced. But because players didnt like dying to him.

God no. Do you think being pressed E, SHIFT, and Left Clicked two times interesting, when you couldnât do jack about it? Do you think being ulted and being basically helpless fun?
