Buff Ana. Hardest hero. Least reward

Sorry, Doomfist is by far the hardest character in the game. Ana and Genji and Widow don’t compare.

Oh, then yes, Ana is the hardest support, but it’s largely influenced by the meta. The meta is Dive-heavy still with D.Va, Winston, Tracer, and Genji in almost every game.

Ana is too weak for this, and when Brigitte comes out the meta will most likely shift and Ana will have an easier time in the meta.

She needs mobility

She might be playable when you’re in a 6 stack or something, but if you’re solo Queue playing against Genji + Winston you might as well just stay in base

No that would slam another nail into Rein’s coffin. What she needs is better survivability (which can come in many different ways).

Every other healer can heal through barriers except for Ana

May be my playstyle but her kit feels awful and worthless, i think she deserves a rework not only buffs.

If she can heal through barriers it also means she can damage through barriers. Think about it.

Not true, all healers are effected by LoS and therefore barriers.

Mercy and Zen are less noticeable because they have leeway before their healing cuts off (Transcendence is fully countered by barriers and LoS though) but Lucio’s aura is fully nullified. Moira’s technically goes through currently, but that’s a bug and once its fixed only her orbs will go through.

Ana needs help but removing her counter-play fully isn’t the way to do it imo. Other snipers have an easier time getting around barriers due to their vertical mobility so that would be one direction to take, that or her survivablity needs looked at.

Doomfist is still easier to pull off though because even if he is really hard at least he’s viable. :frowning:

Viable? In what world? He’s a troll pick 99.99% of the time and when you get that one decent doomfist who isn’t useless (which is 0.1% of the doomfist’s that play him) he still isn’t even a good pick.

Yeah doomfist probably needs a buff to his passive shielding, but if you have a decent Winston to push with, he can do a lot of work. I wouldn’t consider him unviable though. The payoff for being a good doomfist is pretty high. He’s just a joke for ppl who don’t spend their life playing him.

It’s his tank-sized hitbox that kills him, his shields could be a buff to that…but idk… it’s a hit-or-miss with this.

I can think of two useful things that wouldn’t drastically change her kit or make her overpowered.

1st: Her shots are considered hitscan when interacting with full-health teammates. Meaning that if a damaged teammate is standing slightly behind a full-health teammate, her shots wont register on the healthy teammate unless her crosshairs are directly on them. At the moment the hitbox on her shot would make it proc on the healthy teammate first, even if it would have hit the damaged one.

2nd: Her grenade self-heals for more than it heals teammates. This would boost her survivability without overbuffing her healing. I don’t know by how much they should increase it though.

Ana has massive utility but her healing really leaves a lot to be desired. I think her gun needs some attention. A rate-of-fire increase, a heal-over-time like moira, and a slightly lower reload time.

Plus I feel like her min sleep time on sleep dart should be longer, she feels so useless when I sleep someone and my team immediately wakes them up.

Ana has a lot of utility potential, but it’s easily countered.

Personally, I think Ana needs
A.) Some kind of Self regen that doesn’t involve the use of her orb.
B.) A damage threshold on her sleep dart, say 20, so the target doesn’t get woken up accidentally.

I’m not sure that would be as big a hit to Rein as it would Orisa. As long as we’re just talking heals and not damage.

That said, shooting through barriers doesn’t really make sense in the game’s logic, even though I’d love it.
