I’m getting real sick and tired of buddy stacks that abuse us solo players in chat. Please blizzard remove this caustic issue. They don’t care for us. So why put us together in the first place. If all they are going to do is abuse us in chat.

I would rather there was queues for solo-3 stack and then 3+ but you had an option to join either or both.
Yes this would make queue timers longer… But hell… i rather a long queue then a stack being toxic

Regardless of whether a player is in a group or is playing solo, if they are being abusive for any reason, remember to report them for Abusive Chat using the in-game report tool.

It’s funny too because most of the time it’s sub 50% win rate hardstucks who can only win games when they stack with 3 of their buddies because it’s literally one of the biggest advantages you can get in this game besides hard aimbotting.

I feel like stacks tend to be more toxic because their “friends” will oftentimes back them up with even more toxicity leading to pressure and bullying while the target cant do anything, muting is good but when they decide to not heal you or help/peel for you ingame that’s where it gets ugly, its even worse when you are support. Group false reporting is also very common result with this.
people get the feeling of being right when two or more agrees with them even if they know fully that they are wrong.

You just talk trash to all of them at once. Same as one toxic player, but you do it in sequential order to demoralize their group. Lol.

Quickplay Classic:
The report system seams to never work on anything. I see the same folks every night, same groups. just as toxic as ever, just as abusive as ever. Yup, reported them, blocked them. See their chat the next day, and despite avoiding them as a TEAM MATE. They are now on the enemy team, doing the same thing.
Before anyone says “just mute them all”. Um, I think the purpose of having the chat open is to LISTEN FOR CALL OUTS. For that one person that only then, decides to do the right thing and go “reaper behind” or “junkrat hiding”.
But yes, they are2, 3, 4 or 5 that outvote a report. Because if the match has 3 people stacked, and they all agree on one thing. And then there are solo Q players, its our reports being outvoted by theirs.
I know this isn’t the solution to the problem and perhaps it would break Q times. But from Observing hundreds of matches over the time I have played just in a month.
This is the trends:
Stacks abuse players either by Verbal abuse or they are heavily focusing them. In a quickplay match with All Solo Q players. They tend to do their own thing and the healers Will actually HEAL their team and not just their friends.
I don’t see a mob of 2 or 3 heavily focusing a player unless they are being outright annoying or heavily obstructive in a match, to where they have to be focused in order to push the objective or defend it.
If it is a stack. They have 1 friend whom heals them, pockets them and then they just only keep their own health up. But never anyone elses. Then it is a constant barge of flaming…
I’ve also noticed that teams with stacks are CONSTANTLY shedding Solo Q players. on Either side So what good is having a Q time issue, if the match never retains players.
This is why I hope Blizzard steps in and makes an attest at fixing these problems. The bottom line is. Buddy stacks are the CORE to toxicity in this game, even worse than the solo Q smurffs. and half the time or more now. It is buddy stack smurffs ruining the game all together.

This has to be the dumbest take I’ve read. Sure let’s just… allow people to be openly racist, homophobic, misogynistic and such… Without repercussions, amazing idea wowzers.
If anything, they’re the ones committing “cringe behaviour”. Me being against that is not controlling, just me being a decent human being.

Yup, a person CAN report them and MOVE on. But it is nothing like having to repeatedly deal those same stackers every other match constantly.
“Avoid team mates” slot is NOT enough, and there is no more “avoid this player”. As to how many toxic stackers there are.

People like to fly solo in the game. Which is WHY we have match maker in the first place.
Otherwise, why have it, if we are supposed to all become “friends” and hold hands, while singing songs around the campfire.

Show me where I said “don’t report them for bad behavior”. Never said that. What I said is, once you do report them, move on and stop hanging around going “blizz are you gonna punish them? Did my report do anything?” thats weird, learn to let go
Uhm… no thank you? I’d rather have someone not get away with being an 
hat. If they’re willing to do it once, knowing they can get away with it, they’re willing to it again.

I think you miss the point here. That folks are FEDUP and TIRED of the stacker abuse.
Really, it wears a person down in this game. I think that why this upsets you so much, is you do this kind of behavior online. People that defend this type of behavior, usually ARE the toxic “buddy stackers” that find it to be a FUN and entertaining sport.
Look, I like this game just as much as anyone else. But the decency of stackers is gone. They peel for nobody and then they refuse to heal them or support them. So why not just give them what they want. Which is their own specialized match. so they can enjoy each other’s friends-company? And Solo Q players can be in their own matches.
Its not like stackers wanted them there in the first place! SO why Fill the slot, if they are always treated like unwanted dirt!

I’m not missing any points, and I’m certainly not upset.
I’m pointing out that the report system exists for a reason… the very reasons you two are pointing out. You’re well within your rights to report people for bad behavior.
What is odd is hanging around after the fact, pretending that you’re some how holding them accountable by pestering blizz and asking “plz show me that my report did something!” You’re too caught up in the lives of strangers… too caught up in trying to police every little injustice.
And yes I do play in a group because I’ve made a lot of good friends on this game, and I experience less bad behavior from being with friends.

Because the report system does NOTHING. Let me emphasize this again. NOTHING. If I see that same exact group multiple nights in a row, and I rotate between 20 matches, and its the same toxic teamsters.
I am going to make elementary here, Watson. I deduce the jolly old match maker is NOT banning players!
I’ve literally been called the “N WORD” in chat by stacks, as well as other explicit things that are too gross for the kids to hear. and guess what. STILL THERE. Looks like that report system SURE worked!
Again, no pealing, no support by them, even after muting them. and then when someone from the other team goes “wow, nobody wants to stay for your match, so sad”. Yup… plenty of a sign right there. That the system works… (no, no it does not).
