Bronze players in Platinum games

I have had a few games while being platinum 1 now. And it gets extremely frustrating to be matched with players who are literaly in bronze divisions. It ruins the game and makes competitive more and more unplayable. I would like to know if this is something blizzard is ever going to fix or i should just completely stop playing ow2 right away.

I would also like to know this. Comp is roll or get rolled. Without a quality comp scene I’ll take my $$ elsewhere.

Imma Tank main…just had a game on enchinwald (sp?), pushing through main, ana gets in front of me to attack while mercy yellow beams her while shes at full health.

We lost this game.

It is your SR, so either you do dumber stuff and don’t realize it, or you are smarter but have bad reflexes. Either way, just a game and you’re just regular. Enjoy.

The SR system works great. Some people are just unhappy with the negative clout they get from being ordinary at video games. But there is no problem with the system. It is the same system.

Their MMR is bronze. If they were impressed with the bronze playing at plat level, the bronze would be going to plat. But the bronze were bqd bronze so the plats MMR is bronze and the plat is on their way to bronze. See you on the way down lol

If their mmr is bronze, how are they 1k Boosted?

Disagree. I think the system is perfect. People think that they are too good to trickle or have an opponent with the hot hand, but you can be rolled by equals. SR is perfect.

stop bribing streamers with whitelisted lobbies and drops-enabled, and start hiring some actuals.

Exactly this. I saw 800k HWL viewers on ttv, so i thought ‘what is the competition doing’ → ow2 streamers grouped up in a stack, flip flopping on different smurf accounts so they can literally boost timetheplatman. they got bot lobbies and seagull’s aim was horrible but suddenly magically popped off (via the aim-assist patent). how is this even allowed?

I love how streamers can literally play hack only sombra with 0 dmg done and still win.
Meanwhile I have to do twice as much dmg as both enemy dps just to draw a game.
Guess some people are consistently lucky in games :slight_smile:
