Bronze 5 Elo Hell (You literally can't get out)

My last post got filtered as a spam post then it got hidden…awesome.

Personally, I don’t mind starting at the bottom and climbing the ranks…HOWEVER it bothers me that I can’t leave Bronze 5 after playing and winning 7 GAMES TWICE. Literally all of my hours wasted and honestly I just want to climb the ranks.

I did some research and have seen multiple posts and Youtube videos about it, but I heard nothing from Blizzard acknowledging it or have a say about it. (To the players who haven’t experienced this lucky you.)

This will probably be my only forum post. I just hope Blizzard will fix this soon and I can go touch grass knowing I got out of Bronze 5 Elo Hell…

Just Git Gud, If Asmon(Roadhog Sniper Main) can get into silver you can get out of bronze.

It is a bug my GM freind YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT GM placed BRONZEEEE 5!! and now he cant get out of it either after winning 21 in a row

Yep. Something definitely feels off about competitive in OW 2. I’ve been stuck in bronze 5 for days and no amount of consecutive wins seems to be helping me get out. At this point I don’t even know what I need to do to rank up even 1 time let alone get out of bronze.

I just liked the idea of having new ranks

0-500 wood
500-1000 stone
1000-1500 bronze

Trying to figure out where in bronze you are is confusing

There is a bug that is preventing them from tiering up. It’s not a skill issue.

Bruh. Its Literally a bug and is physically impossible to climb out. But yes, keep trying to sound cool.

Not to add salt in the wound, but I went from Bronze 4 to Bronze 2 after 7 wins, with several losses in-between games.

I haven’t really played the game as I like competitive a lot and I’m scared to do competitive because… of everyone talking about how they are now in Bronze 5 lol

Honestly, comp is intense. Lots of intense matches, but you get steamrolled quite a bit if your team just isn’t up to scratch. Everybody needs to do their part to win now.

After a week or two maybe comp will be better? Who knows maybe the bug won’t happen to you. There’s always another season…
