When I unplug my mic from my controller on xbox, my vc seems to not work in the sense that I can join, and hear others, but I cannot talk. I have found a solution that works 60% of the time. Its just restarting the game. I use your basic xbox controller, no issues with input or anything like that, and my headset is a all in one platform hyper X cloud II. I want to know if this is something only I am seeing, and I want a way to maybe avoid it at all. Thanks!
