50hp buff to a shield that only works 50% of the time?
No fixes to her many many bugs (including ones to her shield that make her virtually unplayable)
No buffs to her massively underwhelming healing output
Nothing to make her less of a sitting duck for every other hero in the game
You need to fix Brig’s bugs before you fix her viability issues. Her bugs will make her completely unplayable even if you buff all of her kit. Things going through shield just completely destroys her and it’s completely random when it happens and when it doesn’t.

I play a lot of brig I can’t fathom what a single one of these bugs are.
The 50hp buff is huge btw. Makes her a lot more survivable.

Then you do not play a lot of Brig.
Things just randomly go straight through her shield (They’re not supposed to, just an FYI)
Things that attach to her shield (Like Echo stickys, for example), shouldn’t damage her through her shield. They do. They do damage to both the shield, and to her. (Equaling in technically, double damage taken)… Not intended.
Also, I refuse to believe that you play a lot of Breig and have never been globalled by a Widowmaker when you have your shield up, been hooked through shield (And through floors, which is exclusive to Brig and happens to no other character in the game, and I have no idea why it happens routinely to Brig, something must be going on with her sprite).
Her Inspire doesn’t work properly.
Dashing away when a shot hits you, does damage twice. (Once at your original location, once at your new location).
There are many many more. Don’t worry though, a 50hp shield buff to a shield that has not been working properly since way before OW2 even released, should fix it all.

Brig is a troll character. I’m glad she’s been nerfed into oblivion. She’s the entire reason that the garbage role queue system was added.

It was added because of GOATS and GOATS only worked because of Brig. No one was playing DPS.

I do agree.
Her buff seems like a bad troll from the devs.
Like the nerf to Genji.
The extra shield is good but is not a step in the right direction.
It’s both, they couldn’t balance GOATS at high levels and solo healing/tanking with 4-5 dps was a miserable experience at low levels.
People are currently playing GOATS in open queue without Brig. 3 tank, 2 heal has been hard meta in OQueue since OW2 launch and it’s degenerate as all hell.

Yeah it’s funny how everyone on this forum likes to cry about DPS and say they are too OP. The tanks and supports have the most impact on a match as proven in OQ. DPS are really only as good as the space their tanks makes for them and the heals their supports provide them.
It’s 2 different games honestly. Oqueue was really impacted by the tank buffs to an absurd degree, but in the actual game that Blizzard balances around DPS are still pretty strong despite having super powered tanks and supports. There’s just a ton of damage flying around from all angles and the best way to not be instantly blown up is to have 500hp and a support focusing you.
The 50 hp has helped. Hasn’t addressed any of her bugs or issues. But it was something.

50 up + size change is noteworthy for sure. See how this ult rework they’ve been hunting at plays out, adjust the rest of the kit accordingly.

Only Brig players could call a 20% shield HP buff a “troll job” … you guys were literally asking for shield HP buffs

For the third time I bashed a charging Rein as Brig, he got knocked down but I still died as though I got pinned to a wall. Too many bugs and it’s infuriating.

RQ happened because everyone wanted to DPS and no one wanted to Tank or play Support. I loved playing 5 DPS and me being the Mercy though.
