Overwatch Games are made for a fair 50/50 win / loss, by that logic Having a Brigitte on your team increases your chance to win drastically

In higher ranks she barely get’s played as a support. In the Pro scene Tracer players swapped to a Brigitte. - She is played in a DPS slot.
“Shoot Her Shield She Is Useless Without It!!!”
Never heard a 250 hero being useless without a Barrier, oh wait other 250 heroes have no barrier!

Why does she go 3 meters when she shield bashes?
making it stationary with about 1/3 what it currently has would make it way more balanced, and actually require some skill.

She just has too much space control

Why does she retain the exact momentum while swinging her mace, as without it?

Also don’t think Her healing isn’t bad Usually it is 9-10k a game which only requires Brigitte to hit somebody.

Brigitte punishes bad play, but doesn’t get punished for doing the same hence really high pick-rate.

Just pointing this out: A Silver Portrait with 4 stars, 2.4k player started playing Brigitte and got Masters in a week.

It only took him 36 levels to get from gold to masters.

It’s almost at 4% (x6), which is almost the same as Hanzo who is the third most picked dps.

For comparison Sym sits at .71% (x6) , and Torb at .41% - Situational Picks.

how the hell does she fight at a distance greater than 6 meters?

also, she has counters that deal with her quite nicely - play them.

Note that there are no new heroes, besides Ana who was here for a loooong time, maybe because of it. Also there is no OWL and people don’t see GOATS in plat.

They just don’t see how good she is.

I don’t think that video proves anything. Anyone can go from bronze to masters with any hero. It’s about that player, not the hero pick.

If Brigitte is such a sure-fire win and climb to masters, how come there are Brigitte mains stuck in ranks below masters?

The person in this video has over 1200 levels, and just as Brigitte comes out he within 36 level climbs to Masters. (from 2.4k)

It is really hard being stuck with 56% win rate which is average, init?

This guy is not new to the game.Unlike some people in bronze who play Brigg just because they don’t have to aim with her.He got game sense and mechanical skill,he just usually plays heroes that don’t gurantee him to win.And then his already acquired skill+playing Brigg is what enabled him to get to Master.

Good for that player. He was SKILLED enough to climb. I love how people use this one person to justify that brig is broken. Find me data saying a good majority of people have went from gold to masters playing brig and ill actually start to believe that brig is broken.
