Brigitte's visual design no longer fits her gameplay style

Most heroes in this game visually represent how they are meant to be played. Tanks are imposing, healers are smaller, flankers look like ninja’s.

Brigitte looks like a mini tank/brawler, with the direction changes to her kit, she is going to be a backline healer and won’t be able to brawl. Anyone else annoyed that the character that looks like they are meant to get in your face and brawl will be played like a back line fairy now?

You might be on to something. Hanzo looks like an annoyance and plays like one too.

Agreed, they should just give her a gun honestly. With a gun her recent changes(nerf) seem pasable

I guess this opens the way for an armor dress skin. Hahaha or just a dress to really rub it in.

Maybe make her skip the gym for a few weeks to help her hitbox?

Honestly with the direction they are going with her, I feel it would be the most appropriate.

mage outfit brig confirmed. no more paladin nonsense.

i mean, as long as she has a shield it still fits :woman_shrugging:

Sym looks like support and noone really cared about it when they moved her to damage, so… why would you care now?

Yeah and Reaper looks like the grim (well you know)
but he’s pathetic and sad and a pushover the second a hero has 10m of range.

I mean, she still has an effective health of 450, that’s far, far tankier than any other support

Very true. Brig new kit doesn’t match her. She should have a visual rework.

It’s not only the visual design, but I think that, the story too. She is supposed to be a Tank/Support hybrid, focused mainly around shield and armor, but she isn’t capable of protecting anyone with a shield, and neither does armor play a big role. Her melee weapon is also unused.
I mean, what are they going to do with voice lines like “I will be you shield!”. It just doesn’t make sense right now, and I doubt they are going to change it, because they have never had to do this before.
They just messed up…

To be fair, Brig is still her father’s daughter and Reinhardt’s squire. She fits her lore much better now, she doesn’t counter people, break them down, she repairs things.

I think Brig 2.0 is much better at actually supporting a knight, instead of being one.

:open_mouth: woah, breaking news

But she decided to go fight, and while, yes, you’re right, she is supposed to help Reinhardt, she still was in the front lines and I don’t think making her a backline hero would make sense especially with the voice lines.

I think her ptr design better reflects her character’s passion for building and helping people. I actually never quite understood why she went full knight, she’s not a Crudader, she’s a Lindholm.

Besides, she still advances with her team, she just doesn’t jump in front of her tanks to proc Inspire anymore.

Okay, if you think so… I mean, I can’t argue with you, it’s a subjective thing.

Dmg and brawl aren’t the same.

Paladins have armor and can heal and such.
Warlocks and mages often are dps but don’t have armor.

It’s how you fight. Not the role.

Sexy-skin-compensation for trashing her playstyle pls.

Sym looks more like a healer to me, or a shielding support, with that blue dress and hardlight concepts tbh.
