Can we lower her shield health a bit? It’s a little ridiculous when it takes a dps hero forever to break it. Need a way to counter her stun and this it it

Well for example, Soldier gets spanked by Brigitte. He has no chance to break the shield before she gets within range. His best bet is to just run away. And Rein’s shield is huge, it’s hard to miss. Plus with all those squishies behind it
I swear as a Bastion, it feels like her 600 shield health is somehow secretly armored up. I mow down a Winston bubble EZ, but a Brigitte shield feels like I’m doing half the damage or something. It’s a really unsettling feeling. Maybe I’m just imagining it?
The reason why that is so is because of the size of the shield. A missed shot on brigitte would be a hit on a rien shield

I don’t think the intention was to make her a half tank. She was redirected to be a mixed healer with DPS with some coverage. Having some coverage does not mean you are a half tank. She doesn’t have the abilities to even be a quarter tank.
Luckily, to me she is a quarter tank because she has that immense shield. She would be a half tank, if she could use it to protect her teammates, but it’s for self protection.
I think Brig’s passive aoe healing is a bit weak, maybe we can boost that and lower the shield health a little bit. Maybe 100 or even 150. Sry Lucio!
She is a hybrid tank/support, like a D&D paladin
When deputing Brig, Jeff K. literally said “She’s in the support category, but she’s really part support/part tank”.
You might just want to try a different hero against her. Soldier isn’t very good at shield breaking in general. Junkrat is great at it and he destroys her.
Hybrid DPS. A tanks job is to protect the team. Imo, you aren’t a tank, if you can’t cover your team well enough, to give them well protection from aerial and ground coverage. I respect your opinion, and I do think you bring an interesting perspective to the table and by the heart’s, many agree with you. I just don’t.
She’s an off tank designed to protect the back line from the dive.

She heals, gives armor that protects you and can stun enemies out of dangerous attacks, being a tank is much more than blocking all the shots, which she can kinda do
Dangerous attacks? That’s more of a DPS type ability if you ask me. Armor is supportive, not a tank trait. A tanks main job is to protect you. Protect and support are 2 different things.
