Brigitte shield non see-through from Ashe dynamite

Yesterday I encountered a brig, my Ashe burned her, and for every burn tick her shield was solid red, could not see her behind it.

I forgot to ask how the brig player saw it, just thought it was worth a mention.

Maybe it’s not a bug then? But it looks pretty ugly, so it should be a bug. I mean, Ashe doesn’t throw out an oil bomb or something, it’s dynamite…

I always assumed it was deliberate. Seems to happen any time you’re on fire (in the sense that you’re combusting). I’ve been told it also happens when you step into Torb’s ult.

It can’t be intentional if it only happens to her and not Reinhardt or Orisa’s barriers. I’ve seen it happen to enemies, but never had it happen to me so far, so I have a question to those who have. When it happens, if you drop her shield and bring it back up, does it go away? I wonder cause I believe that when I’ve hit Reinhardt’s barrier with dynamite and he drops it briefly before bring it back up, the ticking stops, so I assume the effect ends.

Doesn’t make the issue less of a bug, but may make things more bearable until it’s fixed…if it works.
