I don’t think it’s next Tuesday, I think it’s the one after.
Console certification can take some time and I don’t think they’ve quite ironed out all the bugs just yet.
I hope she does come sooner rather than later, a new healer is always welcome!

No they aren’t, when they’ve already made 3 new healers since release, and pretty much nothing else. It’s a healer. They heal stuff. You don’t need 20 of them
it’s a dps, you shoot stuff. you don’t need 20 of the- oh wait, you almost already have that. there has been 1 tank, 2 dps and 2 heals till brigitte, and she is a heal/tank hybrid. All that bias must be weighing you down pretty heavily there, bud.

Each to their own. I’m a Support Main, so my opinion is biased.
I enjoy healing, we have quite a number of DPS heroes, so more diversity for a smaller class is always nice in my opinion.

, and I need another support to play besides Zenyatta since everyone auto-locks DPS anyway.

Probably because the game launched with 6 Defense heroes, and one of the Support heroes could easily qualify as an additional Defense hero, bringing the actual total to 7. Meanwhile, if you wanted to heal your team, you only had 3 options at launch.

Defense heroes are just another form of DPS and we honestly do not need more damage-focused heroes right now. The defense heroes we already have need some fixes anyway and I think it’s good they’ve been working on that instead of adding another.

not really. Most offense are supposed to get through the enemy. Defense is stopping them. Torb, Bastion, and symmetra are the only ones who really can deny area’s, Junkrat and mei are really just dps and hanzo and widowmaker Are basically just a class of their own. We need someone who has a buildable thing that slows enemies and reveals them at the same time if they are in its radius, which probably would be smaller than lucio healing radius, so around the size of most choke points. That would be a good hero.

My bets are a little longer. Orisa was released on the 20th and first teased a month before. Brigitte is surprisingly not buggy but certification, minor fixes, and everything else they need to do pre-release takes a while.
defense = attack,like honestly on some maps McCree is a beast on defense and junkrat is really good on attack,honestly blizzard should just remove the whole defense and attack catagories and just put everything under a “high damage” catagory or something…
like I’m tired of people that think that I’m throwing when I pick widowmaker on kings row attack point A,like widow can just snipe people that are on the point from spawn,thats really strong but my team decided that thats throwing cuz were on attack.

I like Widow on attack a lot more than on defense, honestly. Both classes are about doing damage, one focused on area denial and the other is about punching through, but both can be utilized on defense and attack. Obviously some are a lot better in one than the other, but attack Torb, Bastion, Widow, Hanzo, Junkrat are all good in my opinion.
umm defense is dps… like every single defense hero is absurdly strong at dealing out damage. two or three highest dps heroes come from the defense class. Reason we’ve had zero defense heroes is because they’re part of the DPS category.
Still a separate category and they deal their damage in different ways then Offense. Offense and Defense are different, whether you like it or not and the category deserves a new hero just like any other. And no, moving sym to defense is not a new hero.
Honestly, if they didn’t want to add a defense hero, it should have been a tank, two supports in a row with such a slow hero release is bad for the game.
if they do move sym to def that’ll mean there’s 7 defense heroes already. More than any other category so far. Secondly they’re both damage based categories. finally the devs get to decided what is released whether you like it or not. P.S. Brigitte plays and fits into the off tank role better than she does off healer just like sym fits defense better than support. So despite her category they did add a tank to the game.
Not really, playing her she’s much more of a support than a tank, all of her abilities minus shield spell support.
Lucio-esque ult, with a heal pack and a minor aoe healing, plus low health and her shield being mostly personal.
She’s a support.
And just because it’s their decision, doesn’t mean its a good one.
Defense heroes =/= offensive DPS. I want a wall builder counterpart to Torb who can build defensive barricades or something. Aside from Torb we basically have NO defense heroes. Unless you count Symmetra who was bottled into Support even though she has absolutely no support characteristics aside from a shield ult that most people don’t take the majority of the time.
I feel like Paladins organized it’s heroes better tbh. Instead of “defense” and “offence”, it has “damager” and “flanker”.
