Brigitte PTR Stats and test results

So after a bit of testing on the PTR, I wanted to let you guys know the results and the best stats that I can get for you. So to start:

Inspire: Passive

  • Activated by hitting enemies with the Rocket Flail
  • Indicated by a bright yellow pulse coming from Brigitte’s feet
  • Does 80 total healing over ~5 seconds over ~25m radius (It’s huge)
  • Can only activate once every 2 seconds or so
  • Also activated by environmental kills… apparently

Rocket Flail: Primary fire; roughly 2 swings per second

  • Does ~35 damage/hit, about a 5-6m range
  • Like Rienhardt’s swing, can hit multiple enemies
  • Triggers passive

Whip shot: Left Shift ability; 4 second cooldown

  • Does about 70 damage per hit
  • Moves roughly the same speed as Roadhog’s hook
  • Range of 20 m
  • Activates her passive
  • causes roughly 10 m knockback, purely horizontal (Difficult to test, bots act funny with the knockback)

Barrier Shield: Right click/alt fire; 600 HP

  • able to be used about 2 seconds after breaking or when it regens to 100 HP
  • Shield regenerates IMMEDIATELY after breaking, so it breaking doesn’t hurt as much as it hurts Rienhardt
  • All other Shield interactions are exactly as other Shields function.

Shield Bash: Primary fire while holding shield; ~5 second cooldown

  • About a 6 m dash or until hits a target
  • Does 50 damage
  • Applies a brief stun; Not as long as McCree’s Flashbang

Repair Pack: E ability; 6 second cooldown

  • Heals one target for 150 HP
  • Range of 25 M
  • Acts like a homing projectile, moves about 25 m/s
  • If target has taken less than 150 HP, the remainder of the healing turns into temporary armor
  • Bonus armor through this ability is capped at 75, and lasts about 4 seconds before disappearing.

Rally: Ultimate

  • Applies a bonus armor to nearby allies at 30 armor/sec for 10 seconds
  • Radius is about 7 m and is shown by a orange circle similar to Lucio’s auras
  • While the ultimate can apply up to 300 armor, the cap for extended health by the bonus armor is 150
  • Bonus armor from the ability stays after the ultimate ends and does not fade.
  • Gives Brigitte a small speed boost.

SPECIAL INTERATIONS AND TIPS

  • She has a neat 160-ish damage combo where she Shield Bashes, Melee’s and then uses Whip Shot. Great if you can land it on flankers
  • For whatever reason, Training bots will fly if you hit them with Whip Shot. Stand behind the one near the cliff and give it a whack, it goes flying.
  • With her ultimate, her father’s armor pack and Symmetra’s shield generator, you can have a bonus 300 Shields and armor! I think… haven’t tested it.

If I missed anything, please let us all know.

Thanks for providing actual information on how Brigitte works. Especially seeing as us console peasants can’t access the PTR.

No problem. I only hope other people see this

Thank you for this. I don’t know why Blizzard didn’t post all this in the patch notes.

I really want to know her avarage heals in one turn, (sorry not my first language), could someone please post that here?

Quick round of bad play testing out on Kings Row attack: about 4500. But has potential of some more.

So after playing a bit I wanted to follow up with a few things I noticed while playing

First, her Ultimate pairs well with people that have shields for health (Symmetra, Zenyatta, and Zarya). SInce the armor stays until it is destroyed, the shields kinda prolong the armor’s life span to until when you really need it.

Second, she cannot solo heal. She is most definitely an AOE off healer and should be treated as such. She works great with Ana, Mercy or Zenyatta since they can all perform single target healing to make up for Brigitte’s lack of consistent healing.

Third, you don’t wanna mess with tanks or long range heroes, but people that are in your face anyways aren’t too difficult to fight. If you catch a Soldier or Hanzo in your face you can make quick work of them with the 160 damage combo mentioned earlier

You probably want to save this on your computer or something, just in case this thread dies.

The knockback works on on a flying Pharah. It actually makes her drop momentarily after. I got a Pharah with it and shield bash right after, and it was like clipping a chicken’s wings.

Roadhog can put a hurting on her, but if she has her shield still up, his hook combo is pretty useless against her. All you have to do if you do get hooked is put up your shield, shield bash, rocket flail, and you’re golden.

I don’t know how well she is solo healing, because you can’t get her in quick play, but she could possibly do it. However, it’d definitely be better with someone else to assist, at least until people get used to using her.

She’s great against Doomfist, as she can rocket flail when he’s charging his punch, and she can block his ultimate damage if she’s not in the center, from what I could tell. She can also block D.Va’s ultimate, though it destroys her shield.

Doesn’t do bad against Genji. His poking damage isn’t enough to really break her shield, and Dragonblade doesn’t do much if you can keep your shield facing him. I think you can shield bash him out of his ultimate, too, so that’s something cool.
