Here is a link to my first impressions. It is long. You’ve been warned.

If you want a TL;DR, I put one at the end.
So far I am about 20 games in using only Brigitte. I pissed off a few people, and many moaned she sucks. But for the most part, everyone switched to accommodate. Not once did I not play with Ana or Moira. I felt bad though, one of them didn’t want to main heal, going Zen I think. He ended up going Ana though.
Bash+Whipshot:
I’ve been landing this combo a lot, and feels good with the WS buff. It feels fluid, and the mechanics are smooth. On live, it feels sluggish.
Bash/whip isn’t meant to kill someone, just a reliable way to make space.
Bash + shield:
200 shield health makes it really hard to bash in big fights. If I try to hold up the shield a few seconds before bashing, I won’t have a shield to do it. Brig mains, we have to start doing more quick bash. Practice it, because there is no way in hell you’ll be able to slow walk and bash anyone. If Brig gets buffed to 400 shields, maybe.
Shields:
I don’t hold it up long. At 200hp, I am working on a swing/shield timing that keeps my shield alive longer. I have to spam shields to conserve it’s hitpoints. It’s still so hard to prevent it from breaking. In some long teamfights, I’ve had it break 3 times. I died every single time it broke. Whenever my team won fights that I lived through, I had at least 50hp on my shield.
But it’s not so bad if you have Moira. Mainly because even after I died, we would sometimes still win the fight. In one game, we had a fight last 2 minutes. I died so much in that time, but we still won the game. It was close though. I used repair pack on Moira every single time I ran back from spawn.
Compositions: Deathball or Bunker
For the most part, it was either Rein/Zarya or Hog/Orisa. No dive tanks except a Ball sometimes. But it was Rein/Ball, not exactly dive composition.
Bunker is hard to run with Brig. First, there isn’t enough heals. RP isn’t enough to keep everyone alive. And if the enemy goes dive, things go bad quickly. If they don’t, I still have a hard time. I rely on proccing inspire with whipshot. I manage by saving WS for Orisa’s halt. If I miss, I shield up and get ready to bash any hooked targets. This works wonders, and I’m still working on the timing.
Rein/Zarya/Brig deathball is so good. That slow deathball combo works wonders. The other support was mostly Ana, a few times Moira. No Zen, Lucio, or Baptiste.
The dps varied a lot. Encountered several Junk mains.
Enemy compositions encountered:
Mostly encountered deathball or bunker opponents, but a few went dive tanks. I lost every game against dive.
Most memorable recent match:
The map was Gibraltar. We went deathball with double sniper dps. The tanks/support stayed together the entire match, while hanzo and widow set up a crossfire almost all game. On defense, the opponents got it to first point, but we held them under the airplane. The hanzo and Widow were always on the high ground, while the tanks/support stayed on point. The enemy ran similar comp, except no Brig.
On our attack, it was the same thing, but awkward crossfire angles at first. Enemy went bunker with moira and ana. The hanzo stayed with the death ball, while the Widow tried to take jump shots. We had trouble getting it past the bridge, but the Widow got a few picks. After point A we were uncontested to final point. Widow quickly got on the airplane, and Hanzo was on the right catwalk. All game, I stayed on payload and used RP. I swung when the point was contested.
Thanks for reading. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask.
As promised, TL;DR:
Brig with Ana or Moira every game. My tanks were either deathball or bunker. deathball good. Bunker not so good.
Brig against dive tanks is bad. Lost against all D.Va/Winston matches.
Bash+whip shot feels good.
Landing bash is harder because shields break often.
Learning to manage shield resource through swing/shield timing. Tricky, but doable.
