She can literally 1v1 (and almost hard counters) everyone in the entire cast with the exception of Pharah, Widowmaker, Bastion and MAYBE Junkrat (EDIT: Hog too, but to a lesser extent than the aforementioned characters). Note that this includes the people she isn’t even meant to counter, such as Reinhardt.

I don’t even main Brigitte and she’s statistically the least picked hero of all the currently meta heroes in higher ranks. Infact she’s got less than half the others along with Widow at the moment. Brigitte isn’t driving the meta, if anything it’s Hanzo.

You shouldn’t have to have multiple people focusing her just to kill her.
So Brigitte is designed to be able to render tanks such as Reinhardt (who she is NOT meant to counter) useless, and your entire team is supposed to coordinate an attack to kill 1 hero?
Nearly every hero can be considered OP in lower ranks lmfao.
Heck they think Bastion/ Torb are OP yet those two heroes can’t even kill a fly the moment you get above low Plat.
You play Orisa, how the hell is she 1v1 outdueling you? Orisa’s kit hard counters her. Ranged weapon, halt, and fortify makes shield bashed useless.
Play Brigitte more she has map limitations by design. Also this is not a game of 1v1 duels. Teamwork makes the dream work. High ground and spam are her even bigger weaknesses.
She can be a duelist, but the issue is that it’s easy for her to win a 1v1 against almost the entire roster, and her kit lends itself too well to avoiding those engagements she can’t win.

Brigitte is the gatekeeper to higher ranks! If you can’t handle Brigitte, you will not likely survive the higher ranks, lol. jk, I’m just talking out of my a**, lol.
But honestly, facing Brigitte require some players to swap if they can’t seem to beat the enemy. In a ways, it develop good practice for some players to get into the habit of hero swapping to gain an advantage and not be too fixated on playing their selected character. Something I am extremely guilty of because I’m so lazy to swap and want to learn the hero.

3rd in Diamond. The only reason why she isn’t higher is due to how insane Hanzo is right now.
They need to fix armor.
Oh they took Briggette, Well 50% of the heroes do horrible damage now better switch to Hanzo/Widow/Junk cause everyone else just got hard counter.
You don’t even have to play here well just spam that armor or at least change some of her armor generation to health or healing
Nerfing all kinds of armor is ridicules, armor has never been a big problem for most characters until Brigitte arrived. It’s artificial armor (Brigitte and Torbjorn armor) that should be nerfed.
That is because no one generates as much Armor as Bridgette does
Fortify isn’t permanent, and halt doesn’t stop her movement permanently. If a Brigitte is in your face, and is constantly receiving HP/s from her damage - it’s EXTREMELY hard to kill her off.
Not to mention if the rest of the enemy team is also focusing you (because you’re a main tank), you have to split your attention between focusing your team & yourself from Brig - and that doesn’t usually end well.

Not a brigitte player, but this really isn’t true. Every tank beats her in a close range 1v1, and most dps can kite her for the few seconds it takes to break her shield (plus a few can beat her at close range).
I agree she can 1v1 most dps at point blank - but so can Reinhardt (who is definitely not OP).
Unfortunately Orisa has become a niche and situational character, if there’s no room for environmental kill, then Orisa is basically in a disadvantage because of the lack of her dps.
The only map she been played that has no pits or cliffs is Junkertown, and that’s because of Bastion.
