GM represents less than 1% of the playerbase. But in the interest of transparency she’s the third most picked Support there (she’s basically tied for fourth with Zen tho)
Yeah but you want to balance around the top level of players because otherwise GM just becomes a game of “who can exploit power creeps the best”

Brigs pick rate has been low for a while though. People use the argument shes picked as a dps. That makes no sense.

She’s not played because she’s hated. No one likes playing Brig and getting an easy win because you’re not getting better at the game. Feels like you’ve learned absolutely nothing.
Brig is one of the core heroes in goats where her sustained healing, armour, and anti flanking tools make it hard for any DPS to work. Our entire meta revolves around a formation where DPS are considered “useless” for the most part
Exactly. Brig is the handicap of overwatch. I’m a flex player and if we need a support, brig is a last resort cause she’s a shameful dishonorable pic.

Well her healing is worst part of her kit to be honest. You are better to run off Lucio or Zenny as secondary. She is a Stun Woman to set up kills, initiate Wombo Combos and be annoyence. Also she is hard to take down and gives team armor to be beefier. With nerfs she became worse (and will be even worse) at those tasks, so people don’t pick her.

Moira and Mercy are top 2 and 3 despite being underpowered and useless.

And yet this is the level that we should balance around…otherwise we are not balancing around what a hero CAN do. This would make McCree and Widow completely busted at anything above mid-diamond, which would deter players up there and kill the games long term life span.
Also she’s almost always played as a DPS up there too (that admittedly might change in the next patch but I doubt it). Which means that her pickrate is actually absurdly high
That is a flat lie. Her instant heal is limited to 150 max no matter the circumstances.
