On Eichenwalde before Brigitte even released Reinhardt had the voiceline
“Ah it feels good to be home…Brigitte!..Brigitte!” pronounced Bri-Jeet
https://clyp.it/xuq5srpk
Also in response to Mercy disapproving of Brigitte following Reinhardt on his adventures he says “Brigitte has made her choice. I would have her at my side” also with the same pronunciation:

Reinhardt was the one who named Brigitte as a thank you from Torbjorn for saving his life in Operation White Dome
Thus Reinhardts pronounciation is the right way.
That Brigeeta Vegeta pronunciation is Michael Chu Retcon propaganda! Don’t let Jeff Kaplan change the truth!

Everyone has their own way of pronouncing names. Pronounce her name however you want to.

In the end I will say her name the way she does: Brih-Geet-uh. You don’t get to tell her what her name is =]

The correct way to pronounce her name is “O P A F”.

We still held onto the fact D.Va was a Starcraft Pro and cried out “What do you think your doing?” when the Chu said otherwise

But that wasn’t from him, it was from her (voice actor)

This is how Brigitte pronounces her own name. If you want the correct pronunciation you see how the person who has the name say it
I don’t have to change your mind. It is your right to be wrong on this matter

I think she can pronounce her own name right.
To be fair Reinhardt’s VA isn’t actually German, so him pronouncing it Bridgette instead of Brigitte might’ve been a sloppy mistake by the directors when they were recording… and i doubt they’ll call him back to the studio just to say one voice line, since setting up a recording schedule is actually quite a busy work.
But the OW team no doubt knows they messed up, and it’ll probably be fixed the next time there’s a big project that includes new voice lines for Rein. If they care enough, that is.

Different languages pronounce the same names in different ways
The German pronunciation is “breejeet”
And the Swedish pronunciation is “brig-eeta”
Technically they’re both right
I just say “brig-eeta” because that’s how Brigitte herself says it

Then why is this the translation for Swedish in the first place? Just dunno why it exists if Swedish pronunciation is unanimously Bri-ghee-ta. https://translate.google.com.au/#en/sv/Brigitte
It’s a conspiracy I tell ya!
Everyone was in unison of Brijeet or Brijit before her release with voice lines ingame and the videos talking about if she would be an option as hero 25/26/27 etc.
Then came the Origin video and people thought “Ok her Swedish accent takes priority”
But then the nail in the coffin was Jeff Kaplan, an English speaker and American accent pronounced it Bri-ghee-ta and now everyone has gone “Bri-ghee-ta has always been the right thing, everyone else is wrong, Pronounce her name right you philistines!”

I’m going with the actual voice actress on this…
German:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQ9HBlc4HFk
and yes, the Swedish form is actually “Brigitta”, “Brigitte” is German.
https://www.nordicnames.de/wiki/Brigitta
Based on other google sources i found German and French shares the same written form of the name “Brigitte”, but French pronounce it “Bree-jeet” while German pronounce it “Bree-Gee-Tah”.
