Hanzo is a start. While she is incredibly annoying and I hate her she isn’t OP.

Pharah, Junk and Hanzo hard counter her. Any character with range soft counters her.

Pharah, Doomfist, Junkrat, snipers (as much as I hate them), Reinhardt, Sombra, Ana (the last 2 enable their team to destroy Brigitte). And almost anyone can stay out of her range.

Oh and don’t forget high ground. High ground counters anyone on a lower field. With Brig being the way she is high ground doesn’t suit her I don’t think.

She’s kind of ridiculous… At the highest tier though she is, arguably, balanced.

Just an easy mode hero of the likes we’ve never seen before. Totally stomped the ladder.

As for counters? Iunno man. Pharah is your best bet but you gotta be able to get overtop of her basically. So pray her team has no hitscan that can aim. I just whip shot pharahs for inspire uptime and walk into their rockets with my shield while making my way to cover. Eating the direct on the shield is better than taking the splash dmg.

Bad bad kit design.

My frustration with Brigitte isn’t her abilities but the melee pressure in a fight. It’s just relentless sometimes when you get caught in a middle of a reload or cool downs.

In a way, she feels like scatterarrow/oldREZ. Annoying as all hell, not really OP.

She can outplay any sort of counter she has with minimal effort or risk. No Brig worth their salt will be sitting there eating Pharah or Junkrat damage to the point of shield break/death. Rat nades are ez af to walk around with their reduced size and such.

Hanzo is good against everything. Stupid OP hero tbh. Him being her most reliable counter should raise flags. That still depends on her not having her shield up facing you. You can storm that shield, but even a full storm clip won’t be enough to break the shield let alone kill her.

A Brigitte that knows how to work the maps and take advantage of her shield has no counter really. And she will punish the ever living … out of your frontline, and I pity the fool that tries to push a payload.

Rein is not a counter. For Rein to do damage he has to be swinging hammer which means he’s easily booped away, and Brig outranges him by 1 meter. And in this meta, a Rein can’t afford to carelessly drop his shield, otherwise you eat Hanzo damage and a Zen volley. People saying Rein is a Brig counter is straight up just hilarious.

I wonder if they made a nerf Brigitte megathread yet?

Well I don’t really care either way, though I tend to go on the side that gets so much unneeded abuse. Yes she is annoying with her stun, however the stun alone won’t kill a person.

Jack of all trades and master of none. That’s what Brigitte is.

She has a fairly average amount of counters.

Pharah
Double snipers
Junkrat
Sombra
Mccree

But she also shuts down an entire meta by existing so…

It’s not that she shut them down, it’s more like she’s not forgiving when the meta made mistakes that they could possibly have avoided.

I mean, everybody makes mistakes in games. We still make tons of mistakes in Grandmaster, and it’s supposedly the top 1% (?) of the playerbase.

Not everyone is OWL-level.

So Rein can’t counter Brig because Rein could possibly be 1v2’d (or more) and the Brig can run away.

Must not take much to make you laugh if that’s a hilarious example to you.

He can’t because Brig controls the space.

His best bet is the charge, which she can interrupt and punish via shield bash. Her whip shot is on a 4s CD.

I might be making the mistake of not assuming the Brigitte is being played by a bot. That might be my problem understanding this reasoning. It seems most people want to assume the Brigitte is played by a bot, therefore, damn near anything counters her… As they are a bot…

Brigitte main here yeah she’s overtuned and in need of a nerf i really hope that in the upcoming patch there are nerf for her so hanzo isn’t alone
