Apparently it’s blocking even more damage than intended, so their effective health pools are higher than intended! This applies to Ramattra’s nemesis form and Brigitte’s Rally ultimate.
I knew I wasn’t crazy for thinking Ramattra was passively WAY too tanky. I also noticed it with Brig but looked past it because I thought that’s just how strong inspire + rally actually was. Turns out the mitigation is being applied twice.
The examples used in the video are Soldier 76 doing 7.5 damage against armor compared to his current 9.5 against 19 base damage, Tracer’s pulse bomb doing 218 damage against a Rallying Brig when nomrally it’d do 345 damage, and Junkrat’s Rip-Tire only doing 345 damage against a rallying Brig when it should be doing 590. Like hello?
As of now, they have not patched this out of the game but it seems to be a huge bug. This isn’t the first time Ram’s armor was blocking more damage than intended. Sorry Brig mains I know this bug benefits you but it’s actually busted at the moment lol

I heard about it, and was surprised nothing was fixed when they nerfed Winton’s damage. Hopefully something comes out during mid season. Reguardless I think Ive seen like 2 Rams and Brigs each in all my matches since the season started. Surprising
Yeah I thought that’s what you were doing actually. I just left without comment. But I did see the armor bug on Twitter earlier today. Ram can tank a D.Va bomb without even using block which is wild.
Now I’m feeling like all my Ram wins this season are unearned. Not a great feeling.

Yeah I’m barely seeing Ramattra, but on the contrary I am seeing a butt ton of Brig due to Dva and Monkey. I definitely saw her surviving things she shouldn’t have been

so i wasnt seeing things hopefully they can take those 2 offline till they can fix that bug
it’s probably been over 2 weeks since it was discovered so i doubt it. most likely they’ll just silently patch it in the mid season

no fix it or remove the characters till it can be fixed and technically players exploiting a known bug shoudl be severely penalized
I want to know how they keep breaking armor. Sometimes it just stops working as it should randomly and it always takes time for the community to notice.
lmao its not an exploit, the player has no control over it
exploiting a bug would be like using that infinite flight bug on sigma, or infinite wall climb on genji/kiriko/hanzo
