Why is Brigitte’s shield bash now ineffective against ults? In OW1 it used to be able to stop ults from the reaper, moria and roadhog to name a few. Now it just does nothing other than to get you killed and I dont remember seeing that in patch notes. Please fix this as it made Brigitte a really good support character.
I don’t think it stuns anymore, thats why you can’t cancel ults
That’s a bit crap. Taking away good support features and turning tanks into dps. Might as well call it Counter Strike 3.

That’s exactly the reason why.
With only a handful of CC left in the game, there are fewer ways to cancel ults.
Blizzard got scared and neutered here for OW2, as such she lost pretty much everything that defined her.
Powerful ult? Gone
Ability to stop flankers? Gone
Ability to cancel ults? Gone
Ability to play aggresively in the frontlines? Gone

To be fair, it now also does more damage, has more range, has a shorter cooldown, and triggers inspire (which it used to not do).
Honestly I think that’s backwards. In OW1 Brig was very vulnerable - you needed to stay in the backline and spam whip shots, because the frontline was a huge meatgrinder.
OW2 Brig is both faster-moving and higher-damage. Plus fewer stuns and only 1 tank has really weakened the frontline, which means that Brig can frontline much more effectively than she could in OW1.
