Despite my completing 8 Underworld Event Challenges the Brigette SPARKPLUG SKin is still locked.

I just completed my 8th mission and got the same issue…only says I’ve done 7 even though there are 8 green check marks. Frustrating…

I’ve played this 8-9 times and it still says 7 out of 8. Also the patchys are bugged for me as well as my comp credits. It never gave it to me and I was ranked Silver.
The basic challenges count towards unlocking the Sparkplug skin (either self explanatory and easy or for the complicated ones see my youtube videos and read the video description, user “ozzybwild”).
The new “weekly modifier” ones like (Expert) Missile Fighter and whatever releases next week and the week after next do NOT seem to count towards unlocking the Brigitte skin.

I have the same issue I had 6/8 last week with 6 challenges done. I just got another challenge today, but it didn’t count, and I’m STILL at 6/8 even though I now have 7 challenges done!
That’s because the programmers at Blizzard want you to guess what they’re thinking. It says 8 completed, but they’re not saying which 8 apparently. Then for Illari it says a single game get 8,000 pylon heals. But they don’t specify that certain games don’t qualify. They need to award people the skin and sprays the way they’re worded, not what the programmers are thinking in their heads. It’s false advertising.

Same here. Any explanation? Devs? CMs? Anyone? Or are you going to wait till event finishes.
It seems you have to do the “expert” version of the new challenge for it to unlock.
I did the basic Death from Above earlier today and was still at 7/8 despite having 8; but upon just doing the expert Death from Above it finally proceeded to 8/8.
That’s really weird, since people in this thread and similar ones stated that the new challenges won’t count at all.
Can you maybe make a screenshot or list of the achievements you did do to check?

Like I said: I was at 7/8 before the new challenges unlocked. Upon doing Underworld: Missile Fighter it should have put me at 8/8, but - much like everyone else - it instead remained at 7/8.
Then, later on in the day, I went and did the Death from Above mode on Expert; and upon completing it I got Underworld: Expert Missile Fighter, and right next (on the post match screen thing with challenges progress/completion, etc) to it was Savior of the Underworld - both marked as completed. So, it seems completing the basic Missile Fighter challenge did NOT add to the 8 challenges; but doing the Expert Missile Fighter DID add to it.
Wow, I really expected “Stop, Thief!” to be in there, but your counting is spot on and the way you describe it absolutely makes sense.

I’ve tried a few times to get it, but it just never seems to complete for me. I’ve followed the tips people have posted such as not picking up yourself and instead killing the elite before you do, and before they do, etc, as well - but alas.
I think I might have to do it above normal? And if not it could just be that some variable has happened denying me it in every run I thought I done it; such as maybe a split second of them touching it, or something.
Ah well; I got the skin so I’m not too bothered about that challenge now haha

ive done 8 challenges, yet, the game says I’ve only done 7 and not given me the Brig skin.
We have a fix in progress that’s going out for this soon. Hoping it will be live by the end of next week but stay tuned!

I have completed 8 chalenges for underworld and only 6 show up at completed for the sparkplug reward 7 show up as completed and the youre welcome human chalege says it wasent completed. Please fix this
Just got the stop thief done and it awarded the skin. That was number 9 done. That means they didn’t word the challenge correctly, just like the Illari pixel spray.
The challenges in general should count towards the completion anyway so idk why it doesn’t just complete
