You dont need to put in “hundreds of hours” into a character for them to be balanced. There’s such thing as 1 star difficulty for a reason.

No, he didn’t. He is abusing a broken hero that takes no skill at all. Honestly I don’t know why such heroes should even exist. People claim that Hanzo is ridiculous yet I haven’t seem Silver to start one-tricking Hanzo and getting to T500 in one season - that thing belongs to Mercy mains with Mercy 2.0 and Brigette players.

The fact that you people defend is even more ridiculous. I don’t like many heroes, but some people actually deserve their rank. I’ve seen good Meis, Sombras even Torb and Bastions on my way to Master.
This guy is playing like 8 heroes and he is silver 8 SEASON IN A ROW. You can’t immprove that much in one season. He is abusing broken heroes. That’s why no skill, high reward heroes shouldn’t be a thing in this game.

Dedicates 200h in ONE season to get high rank. Get’s called out for “being carried by the hero” from people who don’t even have 200h played in total. Seems fair.

Of course they can. I ranked up in season 7 from silver to gold, in season 8 from gold to diamond and season 9 from diamond to master.
But they thing is I didn’t played Mercy, I played Ana and Genji with the same hours throughout duruing all seasons the onyl exception is season 9 where I had more Genji than Ana.
But to rank with them you actually need dedication of learning the game and getting the mechanical skill done. With Brigette, because she is basically immortal (especially pre nerf one) if she uses her brain, she doesn’t require mechanical skill at all and hardly is punished for making a mistake.

Just checked him on overbuff. They guy has 539 wins and 405 losses. That mean he has won 134 games. 135 games X 25 average SR = 3350. But of course that are rough maths but you get the general idea.
If Genji had like 30% more damage, old deflect, 8 seconds Dragonblade, triple jump and ledge dash and I play 200 hours of him in one season (even though I don’t have that much time), what does that make? “Dedicated” player or abuser? Your answer is abuser. Usuing such heroes to gain a free pass to a way higher elo that you clearly don’t deserve isn’t fine.

Brig is currently giving the exact same issues that Mercy had when people were carrying them self to GM with her, this was when Mercy was virtually a 100% pick rate in the pro scene as well, the difference now is that Brig is just broken in her own way in that normal pug groups just can’t reliably deal with because they’re not full on 6 man stacks and have pro level communication, you know something is wrong with a character when it requires pro level coms to actually deal with her.
