Never made sense to me that other healing projectiles like the ones kiriko, Ana, and lifeweaver have can all be blocked by DM abilities but not repair pack.
Kiriko and lifeweaver in particular are functionally near identical and still can be blocked.
It just seems out of place compared to the other healing.
This is in response to her buff.
Is there some specific reasoning I’m missing here for why it can’t be stopped?
I believe it’s because she was built to counter dive specifically.
And it’s so she could heal somebody who was getting dived by a Winston or Dva without being blocked by Winston bubble or Dva DM. It’s one of the things that makes her so good against it.

Her healing has the most restrictions such as bonk enemy or use a 5sec cooldown.
No free healing aura or 1sec reload like every other support.
Even Moira passively regens healing resource. Hitting enemy not required though encouraged.
Samito has been complaining about brig for years so that’s nothing new lol.
Repair packs really are an anomaly healing wise and it’s just odd they still can’t be blocked is all
Lifeweaver for example is only healing through his primary healing and nothing else yet it can be blocked. Brig at least has inspire. Just weird.
Genji should also be able to deflect them. They are a projectile afterall.
Its an ability, so its 5sec cooldown is its big drawback. Its doing 50 hps for 2 sec that a LW can up to 30m as a secondary fire with only a 1sec reload timer
When brig can’t get close to enemy or whiff a whip shot you have subpar healing at one charge per 5sec.
Thats single target healing of 22hps
I actually had no idea that Kiriko and LW could have their primary healing blocked by DM
Only ones I knew of offhand that could be nullfied by DM are Ana’s shots and Moira’s orbs
I mean, D.Va can’t block Zen’s Orb of Harmony or Ana’s Nanoboost either and I’d say Repair Pack is closer to those than it is to something like Ana’s darts or Kiriko’s paper slips.
The game is full of those.
Some things are not meant to be blockable by DM.

I mean, it’s not that weird. Every ability is unique. Some abilities break the “rules” that work for other abilities. Mauga can charge through abilities that end up stopping other charge abilities. Moira orb will pass through barriers while other projectiles are stopped entirely, etc. Brig’s repair pack working through barriers / DM seems like an intentional choice by the devs to me and is another example of an ability that breaks eatablished “rules” of other abilities.
You could make it so it’s blocked, but you’d almost certainly need to buff her kit in other ways to compensate. And honestly, I think it’s unnecessary.
It’s perfectly balanced, especially since her inspire is so low. It’s a REALLY bold and dangerous choice, like Tracer blinks, when and how many packs to use. There’s a reason it recently got 25hp of burst healing.
