Accidentally boops him into my entire team…
Agree, but this seems to be a red line for everyone who isn’t a brig player.
Personally I think she needs other buffs. Like improving the ratio of armour to health. I would like to see 100 armour 100 health
It would also be nice if repair pack got refunded if the target dies before the pack reaches them
She’s never been a front line hero. Ever.
She never was a front line support.
I think at the very least she needs to give armor with her armor pack. Why is still called armor pack if it cant give armor?
Id love for inspire to give a speed boost as well, then maybe lucio wouldnt see as much play as he does
she is weak, but she should stay F tier forever after overwatch 1
Absolutely not. They should give her some other kind of utility. If she needs more survivability in duels then they should buff her shield HP or make it’s HP regen faster. Shield is far more fun as a tool to peek corners or to use as a mobility tool then it is to pocket it till someone steps within 15 meters of you just to stun them for a clean up.
Yes, THIS ^
I enjoyed playing both Brig and Mei, and neither has been even remotely compensated for their OW2 nerfs. Taking away their ‘cc’ and giving them nothing after 3 post-launch balance passes. Its so disheartening when its hard to get any value with these heroes.
I don’t really care for stuns, brig is still fun to me. But the least they could do is fix her shield. I still don’t know why I randomly die to junkrat’s grenades when my shield is all the way up.
If that’s caused by her shield being too small, they need to give a bit of curvature to brig’s shield. Especially since they buffed the splash radius of junkrat’s grenades in OW2. What’s the point of having shield if it doesn’t mitigate any damage and just goes straight to your HP?
Either that, or make junkrat’s grenades easier to see, because right now you can’t always properly see where it’s going. Sometimes it just appears out of nowhere.
450 hour Brig main. In a vaccuum, yes, it seems unfair for Brig to lose her stun. But look at the whole roster. 90% of nontank stuns have been toned down.
Plus, Brig is way more mobile now. She just needs some more compensation buffs to be balanced around having no stun or Rally armor.
All she needs is a good ultimate and maybe a bit more mobility.
That’s why I advocate for the change to reset Shield Bash’s cooldown when Brig gets a final blow with Whipshot.
A bit specific but i like the idea, mine was to do this :
But it might be a bit too mobilie, i’m not sure.
The problem with that is the decreased damage on Bash, it messes up her kill combos too much.
I think having two really compesates it, its not like its that important for her kit to burst 70+50+45 (165) as opposed to 70+30+45 (145) when you can just do it twice over now and have way more mobility on top of it all.
Having to use both charges on the same target isn’t exactly increasing her mobility, though.
It does, Bash → Primary → Whip puts you out of range, so you need to bash in again.
Also it would be a pretty bad use of bash if you wanted to just damage people, you just should primary twice really, or do : Bash → Primary → Bash → Primary → Whip for 30+45+30+45+70 = 220 damage, though i would only suggest that vs mobile targets or healing.
But yeah, its much more of an mobility tool then that allows you to do a quick combo then get out or change targets and stuff.
Brig was originally supposed to be a tank-support hybrid, but has had every part of her kit severely nerfed. Now Brig feels like she’s made out of glass and has to hide away in the back line to not die the second a tank looks at her.
Brig needs a better shield and more health/armor. She is unrecognizable compared to her original form and it’s sad. She doesn’t even really counter heroes like Genji, Tracer and Doom anymore. Supports are already too fragile, but Brig feels perhaps the most vulnerable apart from Zen, which is so backwards to me.
Mei has a slowing effect to it now, which is 100 times better than being frozen outright, that’s the ultimate’s job now.
As for Cass/Cree, the flashbang was a get out of jail card in my opinion and for a lazy right-click spam, the mag-grenade feels better and rewards that final last hit if aimed correctly, I rather have that stuck to me when fighting Genji then being outright locked down.
100% this. People need to get over their PTSD from her release and realize she’s garbage until she gets more survivability.
