How is a character that takes zero mechanical skill allowed to be better than lucio in almost every way while taking no brain, no aim, etc?
Most people agree that brig mains are the least deserving of their rank and it shows: there is a reason why she is the second most OP hero in OWL behind D.va. Insane.

Brig is rarely played until GM. She is not an easy hero to climb ranks with.
LOL I do both, Brig absolutely is not better than Lucio. His playmaking capability destroys Brigs outright. And she takes mechanical skill, even Violet only scores about 90% on Whipshot. She’s about on par with Rein, so I guess Rein takes “zero mechanical skill” too… okay?
BTW, if I were like yourself, I could flag you for trolling the thread someone already made on Soldier which you are obviously trolling over, but I have more class…

I’m a very average player. Mostly plat SR with a sprinkle of gold.
Last week in QP I paired up with some random dude levelling a Smurf. His main was T-500 (he showed me). Anyways, we played about 4hrs together duoing support.
We pulled games with lots of high diamond low Masters players, with occasional GMs and T-500s.
For my plat self, it felt like playing a different game entirely.
This guy is an Ana/Bap main, and during our play through together I began gravitating towards Brig. The amount of value I could provide my teammates along with my survivability was absolutely ridiculous for a hero I have 30hrs total on. I mean compared to my Lucio or Bap (+150hrs each) I was just dominant AND surviving.
And honestly, that’s when I got it. Like she is absolutely broken and can carry as long as you have a Bap/Ana to bodyguard.
Probably in response to the “Solder is clearly overtuned” thread, probably started by someone who mains Brig. You know, the petty kinds of things.
Brig player: “Soldier is OP!”
Soldier player in response: “Brig is OP!”

Soldier is pretty OP in FFA. But you are playing CoD at that point so I should hope so.
Keep in mind OP does not mean “doesn’t get one shot”,
I say they’re both really strong but it depends on the context
Definitely but ironically, I think Brig is harder to play in terms of getting value lol.
Probably in higher ranks Brig is strong but in lower ranks she feels like a Magickarp potential down here
Brig (the easiest hero in the game) harder than a dps. That is a kap.
Mechanically she is easier. But mechanics don’t mean anything if you don’t get value, something lots of people don’t seem to understand.
Mechanical skill on brig is almost non-existent, not easier. Learning moba-strategy is not hard. I don’t know why people think that it is hard. Clearly people have never played an actual strategy game like chess or starcraft.
That’s a rather amusing thing to say when Lucio himself is 66% “Just be alive and vaguely near your team.”

there’s no deny that she is very good, but she does take mechanical skill and has a high skill floor, and if she is so clearly overtuned then i want to see you climb from silver all the way to GM if she is so clearly overtuned
My brig is low masters, not silver. She is the only main support I can play.
I think my lucio and mercy are gold.
T-Pain is autotuned.
