Saw this posted today on NBC today

Activision-Blizzard is presently under criminal investigation following the announcement of a class action lawsuit. They are being charged with unethical and anti-consumer practices regarding competitive matchmaking which seeks to exploit their consumers.

Plaintiffs are accusing ATVI of misusing Bayesian skill scoring frameworks, algorithmically handicapping players, discriminating against players based on location, gender, age, and ethnicity. Additionally, they are accusing ATVI of tampering with evidence by destroying existing documentation and/or attempting to destroy or alter existing software in response to rumors spreading throughout the community.
